Overview
Designed by BASS Elite Series pro, Mike McClelland, the Gamakatsu G-Finesse Hybrid Worm Hook combines the best attributes of some of Gamakatsu’s most successful hooks to offer anglers one of the best all-purpose hooks ever created. Featuring a distinctive new acute hook angle that blurs the lines between an extra wide gap hook and an O’Shaughnessy style hook, it excels at virtually any style of fishing with almost any style of soft plastic bait. It also features an offset bend at the top of the hook that holds soft plastics securely in place, and keeps them perfectly in line for better hook penetration and a more natural presentation.
Made from Gamakatsu’s Tournament Grade Wire which boasts a 20% thinner diameter but still maintains strength, it is also coated with Gamakatsu’s Nano Smooth Coat finish which delivers less resistance than conventional hooks for lightning fast hook penetration. The product of professional angling, the Gamakatsu G-Finesse Hybrid Worm Hook is fine-tuned to give anglers the most high performance hook on the market.

Comments: I can't seem to lose any fish on this hook. My go to hook moving forward for all t-rig applications except punching heavy cover.

Comments: My new hook. This hook goes deep even when it's not your best hookset. I don't use braid often, but this hook should handle it just fine. A 3/0 takes care of 95% of my soft plastics. I hate saying this, but have not lost a fish this year on these hooks. Now what to do with 6 packs of Gamy EWG offset hooks.

Comments: Tried these for the first time yesterday. Was a little concerned because of the word "finesse" in the name; thought they might not be strong enough. Not a concern now. Excellent performance and more than strong enough. I boated every fish I hooked, while my partner lost three or four. My fish were hooked deeply, too, with some of them requiring pliers to get the hook out. Yes, they are big for their listed sizes. I used a 2/0 with 5-inch Senkos and Large Flappin' Hogs and probably wouldn't go beyond a 3/0 with those baits. These will be my primary soft-plastic hooks from now on.

Comments: These EWG hooks are the Best out there! I've used mainly on flukes, and like prev said, the 4/0 is closer to a typical 5/0. Silky smooth and sharp. Favorite hook!

Comments: Use these on almost any Texas rigged worm, stick or creature. Significantly larger than any other brand/model. The 3/0 is comparable to most 4/0 and even some smaller 5/0. As other users have mentioned, the 3/0 is probably the most versatile size for 4" - 5" stick baits/worms and even standard size beaver/bug baits. I use the 4/0 and 5/0 on magnum worms & stick baits. I have not lost a hook yet, but when I do, I'll be bummed. I should not have bought these hooks. For most applications, I'll never go back to the standard go-to Owner and Gammy offsets.

Comments: I have used nearly every hook out there from nearly every brand and these are by far the best hooks I have ever used. They are silky smooth, sharp, and the barb isn't ridiculously huge like most hooks. I have used a single one of these hooks for over 2 years now and it is still nearly perfect looking.

Comments: I am so glad I tried these hooks. Of course, they are sharp and strong like a quality hook should be. What sets them apart is the shape. It really is a true hybrid of an EWG and a offset round bend worm hook. I have found the 3/0 size fits almost any soft plastic I own. Not too heavy, not too light... just right. Extremely versatile! I will definitely be buying more.

Comments: If you are looking for a hook that will do it all, this is it! Its perfect for senkos, flukes, and even big creature baits. This is by far my favorite hook in my box!

Comments: This hook is the chit! Caught well over 20 bass on one hook, which is still tied on for tomorrow. Stuck every fish I swung on except one that had only half my worm. I used Trokar almost exclusively but not anymore. I'll use what I have left but Trokar's point rolls too easy (no secret) and they seem to cut a bigger hole where the hook would just fall out. I had to pop this hook out of every fish and they were hooked deeper...no joke! Well worth the price! Try them yourself...if you don't like them return them. That's the great thing about Tackle Warehouse!

Comments: These are great hooks. Very sharp. Used the 3/0 on 4" & 5" senkos, and stuck several 3 lb. plus fish. Definitely will be buying more!
