Stacking the odds against short striking fish, the Gamakatsu Silicone Stoppers provide a quick and easy to way to keep your trailer hooks in place. Made in Japan, the Gamakatsu Silicone Stoppers feature a cavity that allows it to slip over the shank of your main hook, sandwiching your trailer hook firmly in place and poised for strikes.

Designed with a flat side, the Gamakatsu Silicone Stoppers provide more surface area contact with the trailer hooks to keep them pinned in place at all speeds. Perfect for use with Texas-rigged worms as well, the Gamakatsu Silicone Stoppers provide increased efficiency with spinnerbaits and buzzbaits.

Very smallThe size L is too small to reliably use with 1/2 oz bass spinnerbaits, as they tear when going over the barb. I'd recommend the XL, unless you're using small lures.

Combine Silicone Stoppers with Disk & ButtonsGamakatsu Silicone Stoppers are great when combined with Rabid Fishing Solutions Hook All Replacement Disk or Bait Buttons' Regular / Big Bait Buttons. Elastomer type lures are awesome for durability, but start to wear out after many catches. Sliding down the neck or "wallowing" a hole behind the point on the shank can be a real problem, solved most of the time by replacing the offering. Eliminate this problem. After putting a fresh bait on the hook, slide a "disk" or "button" over the point and up the shank until it is "snug" against the underside. Then, slide on a silicon stopper behind the "disk" or "button". This works in either direction according to the application. Most of the time, (according to hook thickness), the size most often used with Gamakasu Silicone Stoppers will be XL and XXL. Good Fishing !

Great product!Very well made. I’ve kept them on hooks for weeks without them drying out or cracking. I even remove them and reuse them sometimes. Not a waist of money!

Bobber StoppersDoes the job perfectly. Ordinary bobber stoppers are oval or round these are cone shape and they fit perfectly in a worm bullet sinker.

Comments: These work outstanding to help keep baits locked on at the hook offset. I use them for any kind of Texas rig, even punch rigs. Only the XXL size seems to be big enough for most hooks used for bass fishing.

Comments: These do a great job of holding nose-hooked soft plastics onto barbless hooks when used in conjunction with Owner Centering Pin Springs.

Comments: These are a must have in any terminal tackle box. I use them for multiple different things ranging from keeping a Texas rigged plastic in place, to using as extras for the G Stinger trailer hooks. Size XL is what comes in the package with the trailer hooks, so if you're looking at adding extras, those are the ones.

Comments: Not sure how these are supposed to be used to stop trailer hooks... I bought the M and L size and they are tiny. Bought the XXL to see if it would work. While noticeably bigger my trailer hook eyes still slip right over them easily.
