Overview

A scaled-down version of the original Gamakatsu Underspin, the Gamakatsu Under Spin Head Mini is ideal for smaller finesse presentations. It features the same sticky sharp Gamakatsu Finesse Heavy Cover 60-degree hook as the original just in a smaller #1 size. The hook also features the same wide gap design as the original, which means it has plenty of bite and still allows you to rig bulkier plastics. The streamlined head design boasts lifelike recessed eyes and gill plates for added realism, and the small chrome willow leaf blade comes to life with the slightest movement. The result is a presentation that fish cannot resist. Also equipped with Gamakatsu’s Spring Lock system, the Gamakatsu Under Spin Head Mini holds swimbaits and other plastics gently but firmly, keeping the presentation straight on the hook.

Comments: Works great on a 3.3 keitech, but it's way too big on a 2.8. Which, I, and I think alot of other guys, wanted to use this on a 2.8. Gama, please redesign this with a smaller hook or give us a smaller hook option.

Comments: Haven't had a chance to try yet. I couldn't resist the price. First impressions. Look good! The hook is much larger than a #1. No other manufacturer would call this a #1. This will be ok on a 3.3 or 3.8 but definitely too big for a 2.8. Sure you could rig on a 2.8 but it's just too big. For the 2.8 you will want to go with Great Lakes finesse or cool baits.

Comments: Was glad to see this underspin coming out. I got some for the 2.8 and 3.3 keitechs I throw. The screw lock keeper and hook are great but I've been having an issue with the swivel connecting the blade. It randomly just locks so the blade won't spin, give it a tug and it starts to work again, just to lock up a couple of casts later.

Comments: I saw these and got really excited. Finally an underspin that is not $6 and gamakatsu which is a big plus. Got them in and already caught some fish with them. First impressions are the hook is larger than you think, blade and head shape create a great wobble, and the eye isn't tiny. 2.8 Keitech is a bit small but works fine, a 3" largo looks good on this head as well. Hope this Helps everyone!
