Overview
The new Geecrack Gilling Neo 160F Hard Body Swimbait is the latest release in the line of Geecrack Swimbaits and the first to hit the US. Uniquely designed for maximum versatility, the Gilling Neo 160F is a 1.87oz, three-segment hard plastic swimbait featuring a removable bill. The bait features a naturally floating design, however with the bill inserted, the Gilling Neo is an exceptional crank-down swimbait capable of reaching depths of 6ft with a 16lb fluorocarbon line. With the bill removed, the bait is converted to an enticing jointed wakebait. Exceptional in any situation that a swimming wakebait will excel, it is especially deadly over shallow cover and structure.
A key feature of the bait, the Geecrack Gilling Neo 160F boasts cushioned joints at the body segments. The cushioned design eliminates the sound of squeaking joints to make this bait more lifelike and augment its success even on calm days and in pressured waters. Packed with features like realistic paint schemes, swiveling hook hangers, and cushioned joints for maximum fluidity - the new Geecrack Gilling Neo 160F Hard Body Swimbait is a must-have addition for your swimbait arsenal!

Comments: First cast pulled in a 4.4lb largemouth. Caught a few more, but the best way to get confidence in a bait is first cast catching.

Comments: So in theory it's a dope bait,it definitely catches fish but not in the 6' range. It states to get 6' outta it use 16lbs line but with a crank down 2 ounce bait I'm throwing it in and around some gnarly cover so I'm using 20lbs sniper and maybe on a long cast getting 4'...maybe. But all in all a cool bait to slang atop the shallows.

Comments: This bait looks great so far. I've put maybe 2 hours on it. It deflects off of cover very well. The Matte finish on the bait looks flawless too. With the bill off, it has a phenomenal waking action. I can't wait to get a big one on it.

Comments: Wasn't real thrilled until I drilled it and added a 1/4 oz drop shot weight. Now it will dive and or stop at the depth I want it to to work it as a hurt fish.

Comments: This thing is amazing. I've caught some monsters including last years PB of 7.2 So if your gonna go out and throw it, make a day of it.

Comments: Not worth $50. First, it has bumpers in the joints. This makes it heavy and seem to impede the fluid action of the swim or snaking. 2nd, it dives about 2 feet down with lip, which is not a good depth. The action is sub-part to me. No rolling and bad snaking. On a grading scale, I would give it a C-, and that's leaving out the looks. Hooks do catch each other so you will have to change. Swivel system is not going to help when hooks catch. Poor design on a $50 lure. Not recommended. Save your money.

Comments: This is such a sick bait! The quality and design that goes into this lure is unreal, especially for $50. When the bill is removed, it makes for a great wakebait with a huge presence in the water. It floats, so when the bill is added, it dives similarly to a crank bait. Great hooks, great design, and overall incredible quality and value here!! This lure should absolutely slay!
