Overview
Designed and developed under the supervision of Lake Biwa fishing guide, Yama P., the Geecrack Spiron Creature Bait is a truly one-of-kind soft plastic that is built to mimic small bluegills that big bass love to feed on. Molded with a flat body and the broad profile of a bluegill, the Geecrack Spiron Creature Bait creates a downward spiraling action as it falls, which imitates a wounded bluegill fluttering to the bottom and causes predatory bass to bites out of pure instincts. It also features a small tail that produces a subtle kicking action like a bluegill at the end of its life but is perfectly balanced to not impede the spiraling action.
During the testing stages, Yama P. found that a light Texas-rig with an EWG hook was his favorite application for shallow water. But he also found the Geecrack Spiron Creature Bait is highly effective on Carolina-rigs, Tokyo-rigs, heavy drop shots, as a jig trailer, and on swinging football heads. Made from Geecrack’s original S.A.F.(Salt+Aminos+Flavor) material to intrigue more bites and make fish hold on longer, the Geecrack Spiron Creature Bait will help you capitalize on big bluegill-hungry bass.

Comments: Been using these for the past 3 years and they just flat out catch. Not only a numbers bait. But also a big bite bait. I can't tell you how many 5 + pound LM have been caught on this bait by my fishing partner and myself. I haven't really explored other ways of fishing These other than on a Carolina Rig. But need to. I fish them exclusively with the 3.8 with a 4/0 wide gap hook on about a 5-6 foot leader. Have found the longer leader allows the spiron more time to do its thing when coming up over cover or hopping along the bottom. If your a newer angler to bass fishing or Carolina rigging is new to you, Don't worry about if you have a tough time detecting subtle strikes. With the Spiron very rarely is the bit subtle. Hold on to your rod when you fish these things cause the bass will Literally jerk It out Of hands. I highly recommend these baits and hope they start making a 4.8 and even a 5.8. But that's just me. The 3.8 is a perfect size and width. And bass just love them.

Comments: I'm already a fan of the Bellows Gill, now you can add this one to the list. Turned around a tough outing by pairing this up with a 4/0 Gamakatsu weighted spring lock hook 1/8 oz. There were 2 methods that I utilized to earn bites. The first was fishing it like a jerkbait over shallow weeds and around docks, by the way it is an extremely easy bait to skip. The second way with the same set-up was to fish deeper. Try dropping it with slack line so it can spiral, if it makes it's way to the bottom and it has not been bit then use a couple of quick pops so it can repeat the death spiral sequence. I went through a bag as I started with just one to see if I like it, quick answer yes which is why I will be stocking up on my next Tackle Warehouse order. I hope this helps for anyone trying this for the first time, tight lines.

Comments: My first cast was attacked by perch and ripped the tail off. I continued to throw it for 10 minutes (weightless) and caught two largemouth on the fall. Really wish these baits, as well as the bellows gill, were more durable. So far, Im happy with the results of the whole Geecrack lineup, but Im disappointed with how soft they are.

Comments: Man, I love how this bait makes spiral fall with 1/8oz texas rig. Catching giants around docks and grass edges. Awesome bait!

Comments: Cannot say too much yet. Had this bait out once this fall. I can tell you this. They are unique. They drop for a bit, slosh around, then, all of a sudden, they break into a death spiral with that little tail twitching. Tail moves on the retrieve as well. I think this might be worth a try.
