Overview
The Googan Squad Blooper Popper is a topwater popper that will crash and splash its way across the water’s surface to trigger explosive bites. Designed with a cupped mouth for maximum splash and “bloop” sounds, the Googan Squad Blooper Popper sings loudly on the surface to call fish in from a distance. The belly of each Googan Squad Blooper Popper is also outfitted with a set of rumble strips, which increase drag and surface disturbance so that it stays in the strike zone for a longer period of time.
Perfect for all seasons, the Googan Squad Blooper Popper can be worked quickly with sharps snaps of the rod tip to resemble the action of fleeing baitfish being chased to the surface by predators. For a slower and more subtle approach, anglers can utilize short sweeps from the rod tip, allowing the bait to gently plop on the surface, which mimics feeding baitfish and an easy target for hungry bass. Finished with a feathered treble hook on the rear for additional attraction, the Googan Squad Blooper Popper is one that you can’t ever leave the dock without.

Comments: You can't go wrong with a popper, but somehow Googan did. I fished this bait maybe for 2 hours total and it broke when it hit the water. It was a normal cast and it didn't hit any rocks or logs. On top of that, the hooks bent on a lily pad and I didn't catch a single fish on this bait.

Comments: Nightclub color, right at dawn, sparse lily pads under an overhanging tree. Made some of the best casts of my life under the branches and into the gaps between the pads. Got two ditch pickles back to back and a third a few casts later. I swear one of them hit it twice. Good quality, fish seem to like it. Southeast Michigan.

Comments: I got this in nightclub color and it has worked great. I have been fishing it in ponds for LMB and have caught tons. In my area it works best around sunset near some cover but can also work fine in open water. You can walk the dog with this and that is what works best for me. I definitely recommend this lure if you want to catch fish. Oh and also you should upgrade the hooks because they bend out pretty easily on only like 4 pound/5 pound bass
