Overview
The Googan Squad Filthy Hollow Body Filthy Frog is a 100% weedless hollow bodied frog that is designed to catch big bass in the thickest and filthiest of slop. Built with a heavier internal weight than most frogs on the market for extremely long and pinpoint accurate casts, the Googan Squad Filthy Hollow Body Filthy Frog features a narrow body shape with a pointed nose, which presents a perfect frog profile from below and allows it to slip through dense cover without any muck building up on the front. It is also balanced to walk the dog with ease when anglers impart quick twitches with the rod tip on a slackline.
Offering rugged durability, the Googan Squad Filthy Hollow Body Filthy Frog features lively rubber legs that are fastened to the bait from the inside to prevent them from falling out, even after the harsh treatment dished out by aggressive bass, pike, or other frog-loving species. Available in colors designed by the Googan Squad to fit any situation you may encounter on the water, the Googan Squad Filthy Hollow Body Filthy Frog is built for anglers who like to fish where the big ones live.

Comments: This is the best frog I've ever used. I've tried multiple booyah frogs, lunker hunt frogs, Ozark trail frogs, and more that I can't remember. I've always had horrible hookup ratios with any frog I used. I'm not the best at setting the hook, but I'm not bad either. No matter which frog I used, the fish would always get off or not get hooked, until I grabbed this frog and gave it a shot. I hook probably 80% of the bass that bite it. Fish it anyway, walk it, drag it, twitch it, stop and go, this thing will catch you bass. It's the perfect size with sharp and durable hooks. I've caught nearly ten nice bass with this frog, got a ton of bites, thrown it into branches, stepped on it, and really beat it up while fishing and yet it's still in practically perfect condition. It almost never fills with water, even when a bass bites it. I really yanked and ripped at mine to get it unhooked today, and it somehow still work s perfect. No holes, no rips, no issues. I like to stick with basic black and white colors and they really do great. I didn't boil mine or bend the hooks up and it's perfect right out of the package. Give it a try, buy the frog if you're bad at setting the hook like me hahah. Also, this frog never flips upside down when dragging it through the thickest of weeds, which I love.

Comments: Upon opening from package, frog is stiff. Will need to boil for an additional 3-4 minutes. Once it gets softer, catch rate will go up. Walks good and comes over mats well without ever fouling up.

Comments: Purchased the bullfrog color and caught a nice 8.5 pounder my PB, dragging it over some lily pads. The body is soft and the hooks are sharp. I have not lost a hook up yet with this frog. Highly recommend

Comments: Bought the bullfrog pattern and bought two more when they came in the mail. These frogs are very soft for a quick hook set. The soft plastic on the exterior is the closest thing to the real deal. Best frogs on the market right here

Comments: I saw these frogs at Academy last night. They looked good, so I bought a popping frog, and standard, both in Bullfrog color. After reading the reviews. Today I put one frog on a 7'2" MH extra fast tip rod with 50lb braid, and the other on a 7'2 Heavy/fast, which is very stiff, spooled with 20lb Gamma Copolymer. The MH ex. fast rod was 2 for 10 on hookups in an hr. The heavy/stiff rod ended up 15 of 17 after about two hrs. So, the frog works. Period. If ya gonna use a flimsy rod for frogging, boil the frog a while. Otherwise, put it on a broomstick, and catch 90%+ of your fish. Good luck.

Comments: Thing gets hit by so many, they just too small to fully take it though. Would walk amazingly if my line didn't get caught on pads, lol. This thing is definitely for those who like a frog that WALKS. If the little ones would make way for the biggins this would get killed. Got the bullfrog color

Comments: So I'm a grown man(39) and not a Googan fanboy but this is a great frog! It's a little small and I have zero issues with hookups! Great little frog!

Comments: The Pros: sharp and strong hooks, heavily weighted so you can launch these a mile, walks easily, durable, good skirts. The Cons: The plastic is too stiff. Durable, but STIFF. The only times I will hook up on this frog is if it's a big fish or if the little ones eat it just right. Even then, I would have to give 200% of effort on the hookset and hope it stuck well. There's always a give and take when it comes to the durometer of the plastic but I feel that these are too far on the durability end. Of course you can always boil these to make them softer but to be fair you shouldn't have to do that. I would recommend these to anyone who's bass are averagely 3lbs+

Comments: Everything about this frog is good except for one very important thing the collapsibility. The thick rubber body makes for terrible hookups.

Comments: The frogs arent bad if you boil it. It makes the plastic alot softer.

Comments: Just like all the previous reviews, hookups on this frog were disappointing. Other than that, this frog performed well. I like the heat shrink-like tubing that covers the hooks. This prevented a lot of water from entering the body. The legs did not stick together and it walked great on the surface and did not swim very much. I think that if they listen to their consumers and reworked the material, this frog could be as good or better than the Spro.

Comments: Not a bad frog. Like everyone says the plastic is a little thick. It walks pretty well. However, there is one glaring flaw. The "Eat Me" is on the top of the frog. This needs to be on the bottom so the bass can see it. As it stands right now this thing catches a lot of birds. I'd say the bird to bass ratio is 7:1.

Comments: Wanted to like this thing bit I just can't. Plastic is wat to stuff the hook up ratio is garbage. They will get bit but you cant stick em or keep them pinned if you do get hooks in them.

Comments: Like everyone else has said, these frogs are very hard and don't hookup very well. Looks great and casts a mile but that doesn't matter if you can't bring the fish in. Switched back to a KVD frog and caught the first bass that bit. Go with a softer body frog like KVD, Livetarget, Lunkerhunt, etc.

Comments: Great frog have no hook up issues.
From: Bryan: US 5/25/20
Comments: The "soft" plastic is way too hard and prevents consistent hookups... the price is right... but I won't buy one of their frogs again.

Comments: I was very excited to get this frog cause I own some of the other googan baits I have been using love target frogs for forever but When I got them they looked really good in the box (I got a black one and white one) once I had them out of the box they had a extremely strong plastic smell the plastic was very stiff and it is very har dot get the hook in I do not recommend just get a live target frog.
From: Unknown: 4/9/20
Comments: The frog is nice but way too stiff for a good hookup. Plastic needs softened up
From: Jason: Michigan 4/8/20
Comments: I got the bluegill color. The frog looked great out of the box. Not a bad frog. It walks good but the hookup ratio is not good because of how hard the plastic the frog is made of is. The frog gets bit but it is hard to get the hook into the fish.
