Amazing Line. Just a tad expensive.I’ve had no issues with Googan squad flourocarbon line. It does have bad line memory, but as use it more on your reel that line memory goes away. I use 12, 15, and 10 pound lines. 10 and 12 for crankbaits/jerkbaits and 15 for spinnerbaits and chatterbaits. It’s pretty sensitive to and you can feel bites super easily with this line. I would recommend but for 21.99 for only 200 yards is the only downside in my opinion. If it was 16.99 or something that would be a whole lot better but other than that, this line is great!
Tough to like it, lots of problemsTried it on casting and spinning setups. It has a memory issue both with the 8 and 15lb sizes. I've used lots of different lines over the years, and this one is near the bottom for me. Knot strength is below average too.
This line doesn't handle well in general. Was going to try and get my moneys with by using it as a leader material, but the knot strength is too bad for me. Abrasion resistance is average. Too many great lines out there to waste your time with this one.
Absolute garbageI got a spool of 15lb on a bogo deal figuring I'd try it on my crankbait setup. I have been using straight floro for years on such applications. I had it on a reel for 3 days and there was that much memory that I could barely make a cast. Did not matter how i adjusted. Finally got a birds nest so bad i had to cut the line. I also lost a lure on the botton while dealing with the messes. Not only that but it does not hold knots and requires a pretty serious backup. Stay away from the "deals" on line you've never tried. You're better off getting a $10 spool of floroclear then this garbage.

Comments: Ok, I don't know about the other reviews, but I received this as part of my Mystery Tackle box and I have to say, wow. I was in Oklahoma visiting some friends this last March, and caught 5 bass between 2-6 pounds with no issues. I always use 50# braid as my main line on my Med Hvy set up and I added about 20 feet of this new 15# Googan Squad Fluorocarbon line. It held up flawlessly and I couldn't be more impressed. I tied a Uni Knot and made sure to soak the knot before pulling it tight. I even got snagged a few times on a log and I swear my Abu Garcia Med Heavy rod was going to break before this line did. I did not retie at any point that day until I changed baits. I used and abused this line and it held up.

Comments: The worst line ever. I tried it for a day and broke off 4 times none from knot failure. It has horrible memory. For god sakes it barley even helps with getting baits down. I think they should start from scratch and rethink this I'll go back to sunline

Comments: Not bad. Not bad at all. First off, I'm not a 10 year old who just buys because I watch Googans every morning while I eat my Cheerios. I've found most of their products to be of high quality. Longtime user of Sunline Sniper and Assassin. This is comparable in both abrasion resistance, sensitivity and memory. I was more impressed with how low of memory it has. Using it around docks and cattails. No major nicks or dings doing so. Just always check for nicks periodically with any line and you'll be fine.

Comments: I typically try to avoid hyperbole, but this is the worst line I've ever fished with. The memory is incredibly high. I had times where a cast stopped dead in its tracks because the line twisted around itself and knotted up mid-cast. I tried to put up with it and thought it would get better with time. But after three weeks I gave up and cut it all off and threw the rest of the spool away. Googans should go back to the drawing board with this one.
