Comments: It catches fish but there's no other reason to use other whopper ploppers. Yeah sure it is unique but sometimes unique isn't good. The lure rotates with the fin which is what you don't want with a whopper plopper.

Comments: Got this baits a few months ago in the shattered shad color. I laughed at it when I opened it because of the color. Last week I broke it out to go hit the bank for the last half hour of day light. The first night I caught a big smallmouth 18-19". Had no scale and let it go. The next night which was Friday 9/30/22 I caught the biggest Largemouth bass I had ever seen in person. 23-1/2" long and 7lbs 4 oz. This was in Vermont. So far this bait has been amazing.

Comments: Caught some pike, holds up well so far. Prop part spins freely and reliably and the whole bait runs surprisingly stable in the water - I feel the Whopper Plopper does roll more. BUT! I put two on the scale after I felt they fish way heavier than expected and tadaaa both are close to 1oz in weight. That's double the advertised weight. How's that possible?

Comments: Do not waste your money. I bought two and one wouldn't work after 30 mins. Fin completely stopped rotating so the whole lure spins. Stick with the classics and accept no substitutes.

Comments: Bought 2 . Was a mistake. 1 of the 2 wouldn't rotate in the water . Lubricated it, worked for a few casts, then the entire bait started spinning again. Added good swivels to both, the same one did the same thing. The other worked better, but I don't believe these are whopper - plopper competition. Will not purchase again.

Comments: The revolving fin is not durable. Bait does have decent action but the plastic fin broke in the first two days of using it after hitting a small stick in the water. For reference, the fin is made of different, less durable plastic than a whopper plopper fin which has never given me an issue in years of use.

Comments: Thought i'd give this bait a try as it looks interesting and possibly a good alternative to the Whopper Plopper. On a scale of 1-10, this is a 2. Googan Baits are cheap, dont track true and very inconsistent. Would not recommend.

Comments: I bought the shattered shad color, very unique. It's 1/2 oz, casts okay; has a different sound than a whopper plopper. But the whole body will spin. What I did so I did not get any line twist is I added a split ring and a barrel swivel. Those side fins don't do much from keeping it from spinning. I know the wp 60 and 75 will spin so I have added a split ring and swivel and no problems of line twist. The Squad Revolver isn't bad, I like it better than the Berkley Choppo. But I am now noticing I'm not getting as many bites, I'm thinking bass are seeing whopper plopper style lures more often and are not that interested, just my opinion
