Crafted from end-to-end with premium components, the Greenfish Tackle Swim Jig delivers a true-to-life baitfish imitation that drives bass wild. Incredibly lifelike, the Greenfish Tackle Swim Jig features 3D eyes, molded gill plates, and a premium paint job that is capable of fooling the wariest predators.
Along the top, the Greenfish Tackle Swim Jig is fitted with a fiber weedguard, which keeps the razor sharp Mustad hook free of snags, but is supple enough to facilitate clean hook sets. For added attraction, the Greenfish Tackle Swim Jig is festooned with premium-grade silicone skirting that is hand tied without a center for increased flare and action. Available in a number of bass-catching colors, the Greenfish Tackle Swim Jig provides realism and quality that is in a league-of-its-own.
If you know, you know.If you're the kind of guy who insists on using a 2/0 med wire on ned rigs or 20lb PE to a 12lb leader for DS or strolling, you wont like this bait. A lot of casual anglers have never bent a 2x wire hook on a fish, but insist on the heaviest wire and biggest size hook they can get for some reason. I can understand that for a straight braid heavy cover swim jig, but for an all-around swim jig, a huge heavy wire isn't doing you any favors. The heavy wire can offset the balance and hurt the action, not to mention the force required to sink the hook into bone. The MH wire 4/0 Mustad might not be as sharp as an Owner or Gami, but as long as you are conscious of keeping the point sharp, they work really well and even the single layer skirt hides it well enough. The style of the skirt has little to nothing to do with quality. While the silicone isnt top shelf like SR-40, its still good. The single layer resists clumping, doesn't slow the ROF down, hinder the trailers action, looks more realistic and has great movement. The handtied skirt helps it open up. The integrated line tie helps the jig get through grass and slime clean. Alot of brush guards are too light, especially on lighter jigs. This brush guard is just heavy enough to spread out and reduce hangups, but not too heavy to set a hook though. To get the desired resistance or density, like any other jig, you need to trim it. The only reason I didn't give this swim jig 5 starts is because of the keeper. It's a simple single lead barbed collar. Once the inside of the trailer starts to wear, it has a tendency to slide down the shank at times. It's a simple fix. I tie an additional keeper, made of looped heavy FC (#50 or #60 mono will work too) or wire, tied on the shank with thread. Then I take a thin UV resin and secure the thread on the shank. If I have time, I then take shrink tubing and cover the threads. It's not necessary but I do it anyway. I hope Greenfish doesn't discontinue the GP smoke or Spot on Color, they're my favorite colors.

Cheap jig.Skirt is extremely thin and as cheap as they come in my opinion. If you want a jig to throw in an area you may or may not
Get it back. This is the jig for you. That way when you don’t you kinda feel like the log done you a favor instead of being mad.

Love the hook, and overall designThese swim jigs are my favorite that I have tried out of like 5 or 6 different brands that I fished this past year. It’s hard to find swim jigs in like a 3/8 or 1/2 oz that have a lighter gauge but strong hook. I fish out of a kayak with mostly 7’ rods and I lose a lot of leverage on my hook set so I prefer lighter wire hooks to pin the fish good, especially when it’s a snakehead. And I also use a lot of zman plastics so the heavier weights are also important to keep it down. Most other lighter wire jigs are smaller, more finesse presentations and only come in a 1/4 oz usually. Another thing I always do on almost every swim jig, chatterbait, etc is trim the inside skirt so it flares better and these come like that. Also love the head shape, protected line tie, and durability of the paint. The trailer keeper is fine, I use a dab of glue anyway usually. This is a great option for sure.

Comments: I love these jigs! I've had lots of success on these tournament fishing. The colors are all amazing but I especially love midnight magic and Coosa cosmo. 10/10

Comments: Ok first the good then the bad.
Good: Great skirt colors, I like the single layer skirt. Skirt has a lot of flare. Hand tied.
Bad: Some jigs will come with the weed guards trimmed to stop just at where the hook point is, some where the barb is and some near the bend of the hook. This inconsistency is enough to make me never buy these again. Some of the weed guards will lay close to the hook point while others will pr sticking practically straight up. The hand tied skirts may be tied a mm or two lower on the collar and some higher. The collar is only so wide but it does change the look. Likely doesn't matter to the fish but to the consumer caring about consistency in product it matters.
Anyways great jig with good hooks but there are issues that need to be worked out. Also would like to see a more modern refined head design but with the same skirt style. If they fixed their inconsistencies I would consider buying again.

Comments: This jig is no joke! It's my favorite jig and it is perfect for any type of jig fishing. I used it for spawning fish on beds. I would swim it to find the bed (and hopefully the male). Then I would pitch it into the bed and work it on bottom and it produced some awesome fish. I paired the 3/8 ounce green pumpkin with a 4 inch green pumpkin swimbait that had a chartreuse tail. Used it on many outings and it still looks new. Definitely buy this jig!

Comments: These are the best jigs out there! very durable paint and the line tie is perfectly integrated in the head for the most realistic look you can find in a swim jig. The weed guard is also perfect! Love these jigs and the price is unbeatable.

Comments: I was first attracted to this swim jig's obvious build quality & attention to detail. First day using the jig in early April, paired with a 5-inch swim bait trailer, I caught 5 bass (4 keepers) the largest weighing 6.5 pounds. The jig has held up well; still using the same jig after 3 outings & have yet to get hung up (fingers crossed). It's become my favorite swim jig.
