Unpredictable ActionThe action on a fast retrieve is close to none, looks like a log being dragged through water. A slow retrieve causes the bait to give a slight side to side roll, and a jitterbug like action. Good colors, durable, just a questionable action.
Great ActionI have several of the 4.5" versions and love the action and sound this lure makes. Not sure why others in the reviews here are having issues here every one of ours we have tried works great. Now if I can only coax a fish to grab one it would be even better LOL
No actionThis thing has the action of a walmart bargain bin bait, but for the price of a megabass lure. Avoid at all costs.
terribleWorst lure i own. I have two and none of it works. no action. never buying from them again.
Absolute junk.Don’t waste your money. It does not swim like shown on the company’s video. Actually it did nothing at all.
My favorite wake bait!I’ve said it before and I will say it again, hands down my favorite wake bait! It can be worked super slow or very fast for very different style actions. I’ve caught so many giant bass on these in both sizes!
Wanted to like thisVery excited to get this lure, thought it would be a game changer. Bought both sizes. Fished them slow, medium, fast. Tried the rod in different positions, tried giving a little jerk and just plain reeling. I watched the video on their website, read the directions, again I wanted this to work. From what I have seen the action is unpredictable, it doesn’t swim easily, you can’t pop it or do anything special, and I would probably grab several other top water baits to fish before I grabbed this one. The special lip gives a jitterbug type action, but rarely does the body give much of a swim. You will have more luck getting the smaller one to swim than the larger one. Open to advice.
