Comments: Since I started using Hawg Tech Tungsten weights last year, they are the only weights I use now. With the insert that protects the line. And the wide base fits the plastic so much better. It is my choice of weights.

Comments: Absolutely the best worm weight! Well thought out design. When I use a 3/16 oz I have a seamless worm to weight hookup on my favorite worms. The insert provides an added bonus beyond line fray. I use 14 lb. sniper and I tie a uni knot with the tag thru the eye twice with 7 wraps thru the loop leaving the tag long. With the tag inserted into the insert the knot snugly fits into the insert. This further keeps the weight from cantering and the added stop makes a snug fit when pulled down against the weight which makes contact with the round of eye. In my experience the insert is everything useful. The finish just seems to get a slight glaze of dullness over it. How the weight size never gets dull to read is amazing. 10 out of 10!!!!

Comments: I bought these wt's because they have a deep concave bottom side and the diameter is big enough to protect the head of a full sized worm not realizing they had inserts. I wish someone would make this wt without an insert.

Comments:I've been using 1 and 1.5oz weights from HawgTech for the past couple of years. The opening is a good size for heavy braid and the different pegs that I use. They penetrate cover pretty easily and I'll sometimes punch them. So far, so good for me. I just received a bunch of smaller weights which seem to be just as good.
