Eyelet too small (Don’t buy)The oval shaped eye does not fit over any of my spinnerbaits. I’m not sure how this could have been overlooked during the manufacturing process. You would think they would have test fit the hook on a variety of popular brands to see if they would fit but they obviously did not! I have been pleased with some other hayabusa products but this hook left me disappointed!

Best compact Spinnerbait trailerThese are the perfect trailer hooks for compact spinnerbaits. I use the 1/0 size with and without a trailer on the Megabass and Bassman compacts. With a trailer these don’t hinder the action at all and the little black beads included allow you to keep it in place.

Comments: The other reviews about this hook are correct. They are very small. I purchased the 2/0 size to run on my 1/2 oz spinnerbaits and buzzbaits and they are a bit small. Need a larger one like a 4/0 or 5/0 in this hook. I love the hook keeper and the design of the hooks however. These 2/0 will be used for finesse spinnerbaits

Comments: DO NOT BUY THIS HOOK! It's an oversized dropshot hook. There's no length to the shank for a fish to get caught on this hook it may as well eat your bait. Use this hook for albacore instead

Comments: As another reviewer mentioned, these hooks seem to run small. A size 1 Hayabusa is mush smaller than a size 1 Gamakatsu trailer. I'm exchanging the size 1 for a 1/0, so hopefully the 1/0 will be more the size I need. Other than running small, these hooks seem to be high quality like other Hayabusa products

Comments: I ordered the size 1 for spinnerbaits. The hook eye is so small it won't fit over the barb on any of my spinnerbaits. Baits ranging from 5/16 up to 1/2" in several different brands. I'm exchanging for 1/0 hooks and will send a follow up review.

Comments: This is the trailer hook I've been searching for. Love the smaller sizes for staying stealthy, black nickel finish keeps visibility low. Super strong hook, and now the only trailer hook I throw.
