Overview
Delivering unmatched fish catching action and performance, the Head Hunter Fire Tail Craw Crankbait Large was specifically designed to grind along the bottom to mimic a fleeing crawfish that bass love to feed on. Featuring a very unique body shape and bill design, the Head Hunter Fire Tail Craw Crankbait Large produces an aggressive wide wobbling and erratic hunting action, which gives it the ability to divert off cover to trigger even the most inactive fish to bite. It also features a loud one knocker style rattle that generates a strong vibration and loud knocking sound that calls fish from a great distance in murky water.
On the bottom, the Head Hunter Fire Tail Craw Crankbait Large is fitted with two razor sharp treble hooks that are perfectly sized to maximize hook-up ratios while reducing snags and tangling issues. Meticulously hand painted to deliver a presentation fish cannot resist, the Head Hunter Fire Tail Craw Crankbait Large is a deadly mid-range crankbait for those times when the bass are keyed-in on crawfish.

Comments: Used to buy them direct from the guy before he got on TW. Outstanding alternative to the RK Crawler, although his hooks aren't as good. They'll get you by for a while, but eventually you'll need to upgrade. Slap some Gamakatsu round bends on there and they're basically a SPRO. Honestly some of these colors are even better than SPRO's.

Comments: I've been looking at the Spro RkCrawlers for the longest time, but could never bite down on the 12 dollars it costs for each one. I've always been a budget minded angler, and when these guys showed up on Tackle Warehouse I decided to give them a shot. I took them out today and only managed two fish, but they came through standing timber. They came through laydowns. They came through rock. The other anglers I talked to today zeroed, so I'm going to guess this little guy is a gem and you should buy them so they keep producing them and I can keep buying them.

Comments: OK, cats out of the bag. These are a hidden gem here in the Ozarks. Still, not a lot of guys know about them. These are GREAT crankbaits. They hunt like crazy. Excellent hooks out of package. The smaller version is money, and I mean MONEY, in the spring. Made right here nearby.

Comments: I actually like these better than the RC. Hooks are good, they run true yet still hunt, they walk right over logs without hanging up, about as close to the old wiggle wart as you'll get. Don't let the price fool you these are bad news for bass.

Comments: Been fishing these in central KY for around 6 months now. These really area fantastic budget alternative for the RKcrawler for about half the price. Not a cheap knock off by any means. They fish true, the depth is accurate, and have a great sound to them, and great offering of colors. These are a winner.
