Overview
Proven effective for over a half century, the Heddon Crazy Crawler utilizes a time-tested and unique design to elicit crushing surface strikes. Half swimming, half crawling, the Heddon Crazy Crawler imitates the actions of an injured bird floundering at the surface with its two precisely tuned metal wings.
As it moves a cross the water, the Heddon Crazy Crawler produces a prominent splashing, bubbling presentation that is accompanied by a steady “plopping” acoustic. Available in a number of proven colors, the Heddon Crazy Crawler generates a high level of topwater disturbance that draws vicious explosions from below.

BassI have fished these for 30 years or more. I and my grandchildren have cauht hundens of bass o them. Started to use whoper plopper style baits and now not really sure which is better. I do like the way you can stop the the crazy crawler and it sits natrualy. I actually have caught some. with mine sitting in the water whiile I unhooked one form my grandchilds.

Comments: I don't know if the the one I got awhile back was defective or what but I just can't seem to get the wings to work correctly on the retrieve. One wing tends to stay closed half the time which is ashame because I have gotten a strike on it and it has a great swimming whenever it does swim the way it's supposed to. I guess I will have to buy another to see if the one I got is defective or if thats a common problem for this bait.

Comments: if you fish at night for bass, then these are the baits you should throw!they are the best of all the top water baits sold. jitterbugs are good but these are GREAT!c color is up to you due to the darkness. in daylight and at dusk the bull frog is hard to beat
