Overview
Luring bass to the surface with a glide-walking action, the Heddon Spook Stick Topwater Walking Bait exhibits a natural shad profile that's designed to float and ignite bites from fish that are chasing bait near the top of the water column. Built with internal rattles to add attention grabbing acoustics, the Spook Stick Topwater Walking Bait combines its movement, appearance, and sound to generate explosive topwater bites. Available in multiple proven color schemes that accurately imitate real forage, the Heddon Spook Stick Topwater Walking Bait provides a subtle topwater disturbance to draw bites from bass that are actively feeding on smaller baitfish.

Use the right equipmentWriting this based off the last two reviews...interesting little topwater and you have to be sure to use the right rod/reel/line to get it to "do its job". A short spinning rod, decent reel and 10-pound braid are the best to get it to work quickly on top I have noticed. It's not your average walking bait, definitely takes some getting used to but it flat out catches those difficult to commit schoolers. Just my 2 cents!
this aint itthis and the crawler simply do not work. this bait will not walk and the crawler has one of the weirdest actions i've ever seen. both are weighted completely wrong. awesome look and idea…terrible execution. i will stick to spooks.
Love heddon but….This bait might have been an afterthought while producing their new spook stick crawler that is essentially a Jackall riser. This thing does NOT excel as a walking bait. Very tail heavy and dosnt like to pivot….the nose almost sticks out while it walks like the Z man hell raiser….when you can get it to walk. Build quality is great, color is great, decent hardware…action wasn’t what I expected
The answer to stubborn schooling fish!I was lucky enough to test this lure in the prototype phase and all I can say is TRY IT OUT! You will not believe how ferociously bass hit this thing it's like they have never seen a lure before.
