Overview
Developed by world-class lure designer Lee Sisson, the revolutionary Hildebrandt Drop Dead Fred Spinnerbait features a hinged spinner arm with two Colorado-blades for maximum underwater vibration. It functions like a normal spinnerbait when being retrieved, but at any time when the retrieve is stopped, the hinged arm bends and folds up, allowing the blades to spin as the bait is dropping. Comments: Works well on windy days with choppy water. I used it as a bulge bait in the shallow water. Go to spinner bait under the right conditions. Wind, lower visability, and need for large amounts of water displacement.

Comments:This no fluke lure. Most bass fishermen apply the stop and go method when reeling in a spinnerbait and it is a great way to get the strikes. This great little lure is the best for that application especially around trees, brush and cliffs. On a windy bank of cliffs it is deadly. Fish it parallel to the rock's and you can't miss. Bass love that sudden fall with the blades spinning above the body. Color is a matter of choice.
