Overview
A full-sized jointed popper that combines two unique and opposing topwater actions, the Imakatsu MJ Jointed Popper delivers a powerful popping sound and light swinging action from a two-piece body that creates strong flashing and high appeal. Featuring a uniquely cupped mouth that's shallow at the sides and deep from top to bottom, the MJ Pop creates popping sounds while it pivots from side to side, as opposed to standard poppers that rely on forward movement to move water and create noise.
The rear hook eye is placed on the underside of the body instead of the tip of the tail to increase the braking force and reduce travel distance, allowing anglers to keep it in the strike zone longer with pinpoint accuracy. By adding weight to the tail portion, flight posture is stabilized to greatly improve casting distance, and the rear body drops one level firmly underwater to significantly improve hook-up ratios.
Available in a variety of highly realistic color patterns, each popper is fitted with realistic 3D eyes and scaling, razor-sharp treble hooks, and a hand-tied feathered rear hook for added realism.
