Comments: So I want to write this review to help people understand what this bait is because it's confusing and jackall U.S did a terrible job giving information about the bait 1. 4/5 on lure design The lure design was spot on, for what it is for (I'll go over that in a moment) the only problem is that one of the baits skirts had no thread tied on and it came right off, but the other one was fine and tw helped me out and offered excellent service. 2. 0/5 on description Jackall fell very short on describing how to fish this bait and what it is, as you read many people complaining about it not staying up and rightfully so. THIS IS NOT A BUZZBAIT. It is a spinnerbait buzzbait hybrid, frustratingly jackall U.S does a really poor job translating the design concept from the Japanese creators of the bait. From the jdm video translation, the bait is designed to do 3 things, fish right under the surface as a wakebait almost, fish afoot or deep like a spinnerbait for shallow water.and burning it pretty fast as a speed buzzbait. If you are fishing it as a buzzbait, it sounds better without a trailer also. You can get it to do all three of these things on a single retrieve, which is very innovative and unique. Final thoughts. I did extensive research on this before I bought it so I know what I got into, but I can understand the frustration of people because it is marketed as a buzzbait but really isn't. I really hope this helps people make a more informed purchase.

Comments: Reel too fast and bait jumps out of the water, reel too slow it won't stay up and sputter. Can never find the right speed. Totally worthless lure.
From: Kent: Stigler, Oklahoma 10/2/22
Comments: Save your money - This lure is very hard to use to get a good "buzz" on the water surface. It's different, but in this case, different doesn't mean better.

Comments: Absolutely love this bait, the reviews are right it's hard to keep on the surface but this bait is amazing 2 inches below the water caught 6 bass in 40 min and lost 2. This is not meant to be burned a slow steady retrieve works best

Comments: I have a terrible time with the blade of this bait swinging up and wrapping in my line during the cast all the time. Thus rendering it useless until I fix it when I get it back to the boat. This makes it totally unreliable. I will never buy this bait again, nor do I recommend it.

Comments: Just like everyone has already said, this thing is near impossible to use like a buzzbait and keep on the surface. Unfortunately it seems like a big miss by Jackall. My go-to buzzbait is a Megastrike Cavitron. If you havenât tried one yet, give them a look.

Comments: Not a happy camper with this bait. With other buzz baits, I hold my rod up to 10 O'clock. To keep this bait up top, I need to hold it 12 O'clock with my arms up high in the air. I find this bait to be horrible. I will try putting on a ZMAN Goat for buoyancy. Save your money - their better buzz baits available for far less.

Comments: Just as everyone else says, doesn't want to come up on retrieve, but I think the free swinging is the problem. Put blade onto a regular buzzbait and love it. Jackall is always trying new stuff sometimes they hit sometimes they don't.

Comments: I see all these people complaining about not being able to keep it on top of water. I have no problem with. Just bend the wire up alittle and their you go. This bait is crazy good caught plenty on it already.

Comments: Wish i read the the reviews before I purchased. Runs sideways.
From: Alexander: Florida 3/23/21
Comments: Worst purchase of 2020, bait runs sideways, hard to get on top and keep it there. I'm disappointed in this Jackall purchase.

Comments: JUNK BAIT! Hard to keep on water surface.
From: Gary: California 11/26/20
Comments: Hard to keep on the surface. Disappointing.

Comments:Huge disappointment! Can NOT keep bait on surface with any consistency. Can't believe I ordered (3) of these... I can see never trying these again.

Comments: Hard to keep on top with a 7.2:1 Shimano Curado.Fished it through Cypress trees and lily pads. When it would hit a lily, it was really hard to recover. Really hard to get up compared to others. I would only throw this on open water with a 10:1 reel if it can get it up.

Comments: I really like this bait. you need to start reeling right after hit the water surface because it's hard to keep the surface sometimes.
From: Sato: SoCal 10/21/20
Comments:I had high hope for this lure but unfortunately it did not meet them. It is extremely hard to keep on top at a steady rhythm even with a 8:1 reel. It sounds just like a Whopper Plopper when it is on top but you can keep it there long enough to do any good. Just spend your money on prop baits or other buzz baits it just dont work

Comments: Sweet bait, best to add a horny toad to make it break surface quicker.
From: Rick: Chipley 10/6/20
Comments: Good buzzbait. Need a faster retrieve. Runs true.
From: Unknown 10/5/20
Comments:Just snagged up a couple and they look good but dont perform well any peace of grass or stuff floating it picks it up and tangled around the blade also has a hard time getting up on the top of the water and staying there I really wanted to love this bait but Ill be going back to the old tried and true buzzbait good luck and god bless!!!
