Comments: These were my favorite thing in my tackle box besides a chartreuse grub 36 years ago. These bass sized versions are fish catchers. I have caught my largest smallmouth this year on one. They cast well and the hook-up ratio is insane. They will twist your line horribly, but I use a split ring and a Spro pro swivel and that takes care of that. I have even taken the blade to a belt sander and made it a little smaller so I can burn it in. This is a 12 month bait. I think it gets bit as much as a chatterbait, but the hook-up is better. Cannot wait until spoon season this summer because this is gonna kill them. Get ya 2 or 12 of them and make sure you tie one on a kids pole because they will catch fish. Only problem is they do not have a Clyde.

Comments: Works well. I have used traditional 1/8 ounce roostertails forever and have caught plenty of decent bass on them, but the learning curve on smaller rooster tails is high in order to get them to preform correctly. The 3/4 ounce size of these roostertails seems to have a much better thump than smaller roostertails. The larger blades also engage in less time on these.
