Small Ones Work, but...Update to my previous review. I got the smaller ones, and they do catch fish. However, it's very fragile. I feel lucky, if I catch two fish with one bait. I don't say the bigger one last long, but at least, it's tougher than the small ones. And, the big ones cast way better.
Either way, they catch fish. I prefer the bigger ones, though.
As Good As Fat IkaI'm not really a soft plastic guy, but Yamamoto Fat Ika was one of a couple soft baits that I like. I tried this tube, and it's been catching more fish than the Fat Ika in this summer (Fat Ika caught more in the spring, though.) I fish them the same way. The tube seems to catch a little bigger fish in average than the Fat Ika, too, mostly likely, because it's a bigger bait. I just ordered the smaller tube, which I haven't tried yet.
Best flipping tubeI wanted to find a tube that could withstand flipping, I've tried some solid head tubes but never a solid body, took this thing out flipping and punching and it held up 10x better than a hollow tube and allowed me to flip with lighter weights due to the fact this thing is so dense and weighs half an oz 10/10 tube will buy more.

Comments: Just rig these reversed and let them dark in the holes and reeds. Even weightless it has more than enough weight to flip. This thing flat darts away from you.

Comments: Gets down nicely with the solid body (I was working rock shelves from shore in Lake Erie with a 1/4oz bullet weight). Probably offers a more realistic food density for bass than hollow tubes the only thing tricky is finding the perfect hook because the solid plastic likes to push rigged hooks out of place after some abuse. More versatile than most tubes at the end of the day.

Comments: These have put a lot of fish in the boat this year 2020. Rig with a trokar tube hook and hang on.

Comments: These are a game changer for high-pressure smallmouth on a Carolina Rig. Texas rig the tube on an EWG hook and catch fish all day long. It almost makes dragging Carolina rigs fun!

Comments: The solid core of these tubes allows you to use tubes more efficiently in ways you've always wanted to use tubes, but couldn't do so with standard hollow body tubes. If you like to skip weightless Senkos under docks, these are a game changer! Plus, you can rig them backwards for a more gliding presentation, similar to the "flying Lure". The solid core also allows you to texas rig it with a pegged weight for flippin and pitchin better than a hollow tube. More streamlined and durable than hollow tube for better penetration in heavy grass cover. The strong squid scent seems to make a difference as well. Its been my secret weapon for the past 2 years to catch fish around shallow docks when every other guy on the lake is skipping Senkos.

Comments: Amazing tubes. They are the best that I have tried so far because of the added weight from the solid core, it gets to the bottom faster to produce a reaction bite. Works on both large mouths and small mouths as well as the occasional pike here in Wisconsin. Traditional green pumpkin color works the best so far with my experience. I either use a size 4 magnum trokar wide gap hook or a size 5 vmc swimbait hook along with a 1/4 oz bullet weight to get the right fall. This bait works well on outrageously crappy when there are 3 to 4 foot waves and the bass are holding tight to cover. I have tried strike king coffee tubes, yum tubes, zoom tubes, and ISG dream tubes. But these have had the best results. Try them out if you're a tube guy. With a screw lock swimbait hook, they last longer, but on the wide gap hook, your hook up ratio is better.

Comments: Just purchased these with my recent TW order and they look and feel amazing. I have not tried them out on the water yet but with a name like keitech you can't go wrong. The OP was correct about the weight these things by themselves are heavy!! Almost a 1/2 ounce I can't wait to go fishing this weekend at the lake I am going to flip and pitch these around big timber in hopes of enticing a big one!!! Amazing bait
