Comments: Rigged weightless, you can make this thing look exactly like a frantic, injured baitfish, and fish think so too. Tons of smallies on these things. Just keep it finesse.

Comments: Still in the pack after several years ( but they look good and caught me). I think the trick is to find a way to impart action into the slip fad baits. Neko might work. I pushed an articulated fly tying body segment through the bottom and out through the top. After that I put a treble on the bottom, now I have a very realistic looking lipless crankbait. It has a realistic looking shimmy that is pretty cool looking. I might even use it someday. I think the jury is in on these things, I guess you can find a way to make these useful, but it takes some imagination and work. If you have them, and have the time, you can find something useful, but it's challenging ( no offense live target). I wonder how much testing went into this bait. Maybe some video suggestions would be beneficial. I am not a robot( please replace my batteries)

Comments: Looks good but as one fisherman already stated, these are typical Live Target hype. Tive thrown this and the smaller version not one bite in 3 years. After cutting this off and tying on a zoom fluke, the bites return. Live target frogs are ok , skip the skip shad

Comments: Big Bite Real Deal shad does better than this one. We fished them side by side and the real deal shad out fished this skip shad 9/10 on the same school of fish. Happy I got this during sale and didn't waste more money on what Live Target is known for "catching fisherman only." Everything I have of live target has barely caught me fish. I just get them for the fish art. It's almost like a collectable item

Comments: Used the Silver Smoke in the late summer, early September time frame while Shad are schooling up. (Upstate NY) Caught a really nice large mouth and a OK smally. Worked well in the Erie canal. I think A large circle hook through the back might be the best way to use this.

Comments: I recently purchased a 3.5 silver pearl shad. Tried it out the next day with a 3/0 wide gap hook side Texas rigged. Had immediate success strike wise but the bass didnt stay on, I'll try a 4/0 to see if it is better. I originally got the shad for saltwater. So far happy with the results.

Comments: Bought the four and a quarter in silver smoke and took them out on a big reservoir the other day. I don't see these as being better than existing baits for most applications, but rigged through the side with a worm hook they're a nice option to have. When rigged that way they float sideways and can be twitched to imitate a dying baitfish. Of that, they do a really good job. Especially in the sun in slightly stirred up water where they reflect sunlight off the muck floating around, really drawing attention to themselves. I caught a few small spots without any issue, however I'm looking for a better hook for these now because a good 4-5lb spot inhaled the bait 5 feet from my kayak, but missed the hook (4/0 EWG). If you have spots busting schooling baitfish and leave some wounded, I would give this a shot, because it's one of the best I've seen at imitating them. If not I'd skip it as it's a lot for a soft plastic that will get torn up by aggressively feeding fish.

Comments: Sexiest Realistic bait on the market hands down, but doesn't work in my neck of the woods. Bought the Silver Smoke and Silver Pearl version for bass and striped bass; the action is not that great. The clear tail of the bait turns invisible in the water and really throw off the realistic action of this bait. Fish this bait head to head with a zoom fluke and somehow the bass prefer the fluke over this bait. Will give it a try in the summer where the shad run. But as for now this bait is for show and tell. California Delta, America River, New Hogan Lake, and every pocket of water in California: Tight Line.
