Overview
It is no secret that big bass love to feed on sunfish, and that is why LIVETARGET has painstakingly developed one of the most accurate Sunfish Swimbait ever created. Featuring an anatomically correct profile that will fool even the most wary of bass, it also features an oscillating tail, which generates a natural side-to-side tail kicking action.
Outfitted with a stout extra wide gap hook as well for increased hooking power, the hook is also located behind the dorsal fin, which acts as a weedguard and allows the Sunfish Swimbait to come through a variety of cover where sunfish and bass congregate. Also equipped with an accessory pin along the belly so anglers can add additional hooks for short striking fish, it also allows angler to spinner blades to add a little flash and vibration to their presentation. Available in a range of highly accurate color schemes, the LIVETARGET Sunfish Swimbait is sure to be a hit with swimbait enthusiasts.
LIVETARGET has combined nature’s best with modern technology to create an exciting new collection of swimbaits. Available in common forages, the new LIVETARGET Swimbait Series is designed to look and swim just like live bait. The profile of the body and tail is so accurately matched and anatomically scaled, it sets a new industry standard to match-the-hatch. The tail is precisely fitted with a strategically engineered oscillator that generates a side-to-side tail swing action. Every swimbait has its own signature action, making it come alive and swim just like its natural counterpart.

Comments: One of the better bluegill soft swimbaits on the market, especially due to the durability. Like all livetarget swimbaits, they have a realistic action that's not over the top, swimming and of course looking more like the real thing. Boil the tail for 20 seconds or so and it will vibrate as a slow speed. The price is right. I don't understand the criticism LT swimbaits get, they are fantastic for the price, come with good hooks, and may be the most natural on the market with the profile and swimming combination.

Comments: After an afternoon of fishing and too many bass to count, I had to retire mine. Good thing they're inexpensive!

Comments: this bait is so-so for me. for starters, it does get bit. the only problem is that i just cant seem to hook them at all. this might be user error but idk. second, the tail does kick, but very tight and quickly. at high speeds it will pitch on its side. its has been good but have yet to actually hook a fish.

Comments: I fished a pike tournament last fall and ended up winning it on the pumpkin seed color in the 4 inch. It's a great bait and stood up to strikes from several fish over 30 inches. The number of pike this bait has stood up to is incredible as most soft baits lose their tails after one or two pike. It has a really subtle action, and I find that just rolling it over shallow weeds can be really effective.

Comments: Like mentioned these do not swim at very slow speeds but after soaking the tail in boiling water for about 10 seconds it swam at a noticeably slower speed

Comments: Purchased a 3.5" and 4.3" in bronze and natural bluegill. I've previously caught fish using their gizzard shad and herring series of these swimbaits, so I knew these would also be great for when you need a slow and natural presentation when bass are feeding on sunfish. Extremely realistic pattern fools bass when other lures won't. Needs to be worked at medium to slow speed (but not too slow), although ripping them out of submerged grass can also be effective. However, due to the soft rubber/plastic used to make it look and move naturally, the paint scheme will not last very long. My 3.5" bronze bluegill is noticeably starting to peel off after catching 2 fish (though one of them was a 5lb. 6oz. LM that put up quite a fight). Good bait, but durability needs to be improved.

Comments: Great bait! Caught a 5 pounder on a bed with the 3.5 inch bronze gill on the first cast. A small amount of scales came off but that was from a pickerel

Comments: They do have a strong chemical sent at first, but after one day on the water it wears off.

Comments: It works down here when Houston froze right after New Years. Pressured pond just kind of yo-yo action and it got slammed. Just picked up the mid size to throw on my new swim bait rod. Yes they have a better tail action going faster but this bait is very versatile. I can't wait to hit the beds on Sam Rayburn with this just jogging it and crawling it into bed.

Comments: I was lucky enough to find the bronze gill color in stock in the 3.5 inch model and I could not be more impressed. These are by far the best looking gill-pattern swimbaits that I have ever seen. They do have a very strong chemical scent but some scented slime will cover it up completely and eventually make it where you cant smell the chemical scent even without the slime on the bait. Great action on these even though they are pretty small. The bass love them in the little ponds in East Texas. Make sure to add a trebel hook though or you will not land near as many.
