Comments: I've been a Lamiglas guy for years. I've always loved the infinity series and this is the next step from that line. These rods are the most versatile I have found. I use the 7'3 for everything from swim jigs in sparse grass to spinner baits and chatter baits. Believe it or not, the tip is so soft you can feel the blades turning beautifully. Also, it has backbone to handle the biggest bass you'll hook. I used mine to catch an 8.52 in a tournament a couple of weeks ago, which we won. I was spinnerbaiting some pads. No problem getting the fish to the boat and the hook was driven. Awesome rods and an awesome company. They've been top notch with service over the years. The only issue I'll mention is that soft, very versatile tip comes at a price- you can't flip 3lbers or bigger into the boat. You'll snap the rod. Not every time but if it doesn't break you're living in borrowed time. I'll take that trade for what I get out of this rod. I have three and they are part of my starting lineup.

Comments: I am an avid user of Lamiglas in the last year. They are hands down some of the best rods I have ever used in my life. The SI Bass series rods are incredible both these Casting rods and the spinning. One thing to note: they do tend to have a softer tip then your " average" rod. This being said they seem similar to the original Garry Loomis blanks. Soft tip for greta casting but a serious backbone for moving and directing the fish you catch.  The full resined grip makes holding a bait caster feel great! It may seem like a lot of money for a rod, but the fact that they are hand build in USA and are so incredibly light I found after fishing with the SI Bass Series rods only a few times it improved my hook up ratio a lot.
