Overview
Designed and refined by the Lazer Trokar pro’s, the Lazer Trokar Pro V Flippin Hook incorporates an aggressive bend design that is engineered to keep fish pinned even when you are a hauling them out of heavy cover. It also features a smaller gap than your standard flipping hook to accommodate different baits in your flipping arsenal.
Manufactured in Denver, CO with heavy guage, super high-carbon Q741 wire that will flex but won’t bend, it also features Trokar’s surgically sharpened hook point for the fastest penetration on the market. The line eye is welded shut as well so your braided lines will never slip out, and the specially designed bait keeper won’t tear up your baits and keeps them from slipping down the shank. Available in a range of sizes, the Lazer Trokar Pro V Flippin Hook gets down to business.

Comments: Great for punching heavy cover. The V shape bend in the hook seems to do way better with hook sets than the typical circle bend flippin hook on a snell knot. Going to be using 5/0 exclusively moving forward with punching.

Comments: Hands down my favorite halibut hook. Dropshotting big surf halibut with this is ideal, no hooksets needed.

Comments: Someone said that they bent this hook? How in the world did you bend this hook. If you bent this hook on a bass it your own fault. Bass are wimps, half the time I catch them i'm waterskiing them on the surface. If you are bending this piece of rebar of a hook then id suggest going in to black something because you could straight up catch a Goliath grouper with this hook. Overall its pretty good.

Comments: The BEST flipping hook made in terms of hooking and landing percentage, period. However, I wish they'd make it in the Trokar Monster guage wire... because it will bend-out on a biggun' that's served in salad... So, I only use these fishing sparser grass or with fluorocarbon. The cutting edge is perfect for pitching/flipping grass with braid because the technique of pulling back on the set and not slack-lining a set sinks the hook like butter without ripping the heavy sinker and lure away from the fish. If you haven't flipped with Trokar's flipping hooks, I'd suggest them over any other hook made. I've got a science background so I'm a nerd for numbers and percentage wise they're the best. There are a few variables to account for and the occasional "loss" for whatever reason, but numbers wise, they're the most efficient. If you use fluorocarbon go with the Big Nasty or TK-130 and the TK-135 or the Big Nasty with braid, in that order for efficiency. The keeper is really good and rarely breaks, it also leaves plenty of room to snell if that's your cup of tea, and the eye is sealed so your line won't catch and risk breaking.

Comments: Amazing hook in terms of not bending out being super sticky sharp. I use on 65lb Powerpro maxcuatro and 25lb Seaguar fluorocarbon, and this hook takes the beating others wont. This hook works for almost all situations and now switching all Gama flipping hooks to Big Nasty. Not sure what about the bad raps on this never had a single hook bend out on hard hooksets, if in doubt try these, wont be disappointed!

Comments: Excellent hook that pairs well with slimmer flippin baits like Strike King's DB Bug. I use the 5/0 size for these. The super sharp tip will occasionally bend on a bony bass mouth but overall an outstanding hook.

Comments: Was hoping this hook wouldn't bend but it still does like the previous version. Gama X-Heavy Flippin Hook is the way to go.
