Comments: At the end of the day it's really not worth it. Buy it for the looks and I suppose the knobs, but it's ultimately not weight saving if you have a reel of any quality value. In some cases it actually was more weight than what came stock on my reels. At that point though, we are talking tenths of an ounce. So what difference does it really make. Measuring a tenth of an ounce in a reel is like measuring yourself in centimeters.

Comments: I purchased a Lew's LFS without putting hands on it first. The reel itself seems great but I was immediately unhappy with the handle/knob setup so I purchased this kit. At first I felt a little silly because I could have just spent $170 and gotten a different reel but I have no regrets. It took less than 5 minutes to switch handles and it's awesome. I have it paired with a TP-1 black series rod and it makes the combo light as a feather. It also looks absolutely fantastic which doesn't hurt either.
