Comments: I really like this product I personally use mine for finesse fishing (drop shots Ned rigs and senkos) and I love it it's very nice and I would recommend it to anyone.

Comments: Great reel at an affordable price. Has the power to land fish with a very smooth action. Worth the price very useful in all situations.

Comments: I like it. It seems like a nice real for the money. Smooth and comfortable. Nothing big on it yet, but performed well with the fish I did catch . I own a lot of Lew"s Bait caster and I am a big fan. This is the first Lew" s spinning real I have purchased and again it feels good in my hand and seams well built. I like it, but time is the ultimate test.

Comments: I have two of these reels with matching Lews KVD spinning rods. I use them for finesse Ned rig and drop shot. I have landed bass up to 10.5 lbs and both the rod and reel handled the stress perfectly. This reel has everything a $300 reel has and more!

Comments: I'm 74 years old and have fished since I was a little kid, mostly spinning but more and more bait casting the last 20 years. Needless to say I've seen a lot of reels come and go. The last couple of years I been using casting reels for bass in a nearby lake. Although I already have probably a dozen spinning reel & rod combos I liked the look of this reel, it reminded me of a Shakespeare spinning reel I really liked and used a lot back in the 60's. So I paired a 200 model up with a St Croix medium light Mojo Bass rod and have caught a couple dozen 1-3 lb bass with it so far. I'm using braided line with a short fluorocarbon leader with it. I have to say this is as good a light spinning combo as I have ever used and I couldn't be happier with the reel. The drag works just fine and the reel feels as smooth as silk.

Comments: Bought this reel because of price mainly. The real feels nice and smooth on retrieve. The only complaint I have is handle keeps coming loose.

Comments: This is a very nice spinning reel. I have used many more expensive spinning reels but none compare to this reel, especially at this price. This spinning reel is a great value!

Comments: I am not a fan of this reel. The anti-reverse has flipped on me twice while on runs, this last time causing a huge mess and making me lose a bunch of line from the resulting bird's nest. I use braid to fluoro and I have never had so much line twist in my life. I've been using Pflueger Presidents for years and will continue to do so before ever buying one of these garbage reels again

Comments: Sorry to say. I'm not impressed with this product. It was fine the first time out. The second trip there was a little rain. It started binding up and hasn't been smooth since. Dried it out. Relubed. Still no good. I'm hoping I can return it. I'll try my luck on a different product.

Comments: Bought this reel because I needed another finesse setup. I was looking at picking up another Stradic as I have 2 and like them but they have become too expensive. This looked to be the perfect reel for my NED or wacky rig applications. I've been using it now for a few months and love it! Brought it to Lake Champlain and tackled big smallies with it. Back here in AZ I put it on a Med/Lt rod and I can throw Neds, light finesse swim jigs or DS with it just fine. It's smooth, casts braid a mile and feels nice in my hand. Great reel.

Comments: This is a great reel and not to expensive! This thing is smooth. I like that it has a textured spool too.

Comments: This reel is an extremely good bang for the buck. Lew's has been only choice of reels since I started fishing. Compared to the TLC2000 it is just as silky smooth. Kevin has a brought great addition to the lineup.

Comments: I have had my KVD reel out on eight trips so far and had no problems it's a great deal. The real is exceptionally smooth and I have mine on a 13 Fate rod. I will be buying another one soon.

Comments: Excellent value reel. Smooth drag, not exceptionally heavy but gives good response at handle. Impressed for the price.

Comments: I'm very impressed by this reel. I have a Lew's Mach Crush (orange) reel and I feel more confident with this reel. It feels better built (sturdier pieces), and it weighs about the same. Nice product!!! Would recommend!

Comments: Just bought this and fished my 1st tournament and caught my 1st fish of the year on it. I couldn't stop saying how much I love this reel!! It's super smooth. I paired it with a Lew's Speed Stick 6'8" medium action and a square bill. Not sure of the weight but it was a tad heavier than I usually go and it was fabulous. It casts far and as smooth as butter. Definitely will buy another.

Comments: Great reel for the price, little heavy compared to some, but really smooth and casts great.

Comments: I bought the KVD 300 spinning real a few weeks back along with the KVD spinning 7ft spinning rod. The combination works very well with the shad rap 4,5 and 6 along with shaky head. This rod allows a long cast and has the perfect tip for easy hook ups and gives enough so the fish don't shake off. Great reel, plenty of power and smooth casting. I do not believe you can find better for the money.
