The Lucas Oil Synthetic Blend 2-Cycle Marine Oil Quart has been specifically formulated to address the performance requirements of water cooled 2-cycle outboards and personal watercraft. Fortified with Lucas Oil’s additive chemistry and an ashless detergent inhibitor package, the Lucas Oil Synthetic Blend 2-Cycle Marine Oil Quart works to minimize spark plug fouling, pre-ignition, and ring sticking. The mix ratio is 50:1 and recommended for use in pre-mix or direct injection systems. NMMA TC-W3 certified.

Bad experienceI had always used penzoil synthetic oil in my 150 evinrude, being a mechanic I kept my engine in as good of shape as anyone. I ended up getting this oil because I ran out of my oil and this is what they had. I mix 50:1 or 1 pint to 6 gallons of non ethanol gas, I even give it a little extra for good measure, I'd rather foul plugs and smoke than not. To make a long story shorter, I ran 7 miles the next trip when the motor locked up without any warning. Only difference this morning was the oil, it's super thin oil compared to every single oil and I just don't think it offers the same protection. I know it mixes with gas but to me it's just not as good of an oil.
