Overview
As a part of Lucky Craft's California Inshore Fishing (CIF) seres, the Lucky Craft CIF Surf Pointer is absolutely lethal in saltwater, but it's fishing-catching prowess isn't limited to the ocean. Truly a multi-species workhorse, the Lucky Craft CIF Surf Pointer is capable of catching a wide-array of fish, from halibut to barracuda and especially largemouth.
Built with a semi-crescent body shape, the Lucky Craft CIF Surf Pointer delivers long casts with very little effort. Perfect for covering that critical 3-5 foot depth zone, the Lucky Craft CIF Surf Pointer provides an erratic side-to-side action that can be used with a wide-range of cadences and speeds. Fitted with three razor-sharp trebles, the Lucky Craft CIF Surf Pointer provides a universal appeal that will make for a great day of fishing no matter where it's thrown.

Comments: Read below. Same story. Any calico bass over 3lbs is going to break these hooks and rings. If you do not upgrade, you will lose these fish. Otherwise, this bait catches big bass. The chovie one over 5 feet of eelgrass at the islands near boiler rocks will work a big bass right out of hiding. My PB at 7.6 came on this bait.

Comments: Seriously, can't land a striped bass over 18" without the hooks bending. Replaced with Gamakatsu EWG Treble Short Shank 2X 6 and the split rings straighten. You will be disappointed if you do not replace both hooks and rings. Fooled me twice, don't let it happen to you.

Comments: Great paint job however the rings and hooks both require upgrades for bigger species like Striped bass and halibut. If your going to throw any where near rocky bottoms you should clear coat your lure with two extra coats to provide more protection from chipping paint.

Comments: Best halibut bait for surf fishing period, landed more than a few on one of these in zebra sardine. Also the world record surf perch was caught on one of these
