Overview
The Lucky Craft Pointer 78XD Jerkbaits are extra deep diving jerkbaits, designed to dive deeper than any other Lucky Craft Pointer. They still have the distinctive action unique to the Lucky Craft Pointer family thanks to the characteristic brass weighting system. The weighting system creates a low center of balance, causing the Pointer XD to wobble and vibrate whenever the retrieving motion is stopped. A short twitch of the rod tip is all you need to generate the characteristic underwater "Walk the Dog" action that sets the Lucky Craft Pointer Series apart from other jerkbaits or ripbaits on the market. Available in a multitude of colors to match with the forage in your local waters, the Lucky Craft Pointer 78XD Jerkbaits are up to the task and provide anglers with another effective presentation.

Comments: I have very strong likes and dislikes regarding these baits. These sincerely catch quality smallmouth at a verygood rate. However, they barf their paint really quickly. They cost a lot for average hooks and the terrible paint durability. They also will catch plenty of everything you aren't interested in catching.

Comments: Great for those deep smallies. Love the 100 size. Just wish they had more color options. There were more in the past but because people don't buy these they have slowly been getting discontinued. Too bad.

Comments: The best hardbait up north hands down. ghost minnow is an impossible color to beat in our clear Lake Erie waters. Will catch em when nothing else will especially pre spawn. the deeper xd is great up here dont know why they dont make a 100 xd
