Overview
The Lucky Craft Sammy is one of the most effective topwater baits to ever hit the market. Now Lucky Craft is introducing its bigger brother, the new Lucky Craft Super Sammy 10lb. Designed with the help of B.A.S.S. Elites Series Pro, Takahiro Omori, and the Lucky Craft Pro Staff, they spent three days at world-famous Lake Fork testing the prototypes. It’s also where it earned its name the Super Sammy 10lb. It was already an early summer pattern with all the big fish down at about 20ft, and Takahiro knew that this would play a factor in trying to entice those bigger fish to come up shallow. Takahiro was convinced he could get a big fish to come up for the Super Sammy. The first fish to show interest in the Super Sammy was an absolute giant 10lb bass, and the rest is history.
The Super Sammy measures 5-1/3 inches and weighs in at 1oz, offering a much bigger profile than before to trigger those larger fish. Like the original Sammy lineup, it still has the same great walk-the-dog action and sits tail down to keep more of the bait in the water, making it easier for the fish to grab. Lucky Craft also turned the hook hangers horizontally, which allows the bait to walk more freely and creates less drag in the water.
The Super Sammy also features a loud one-knocker style rattle that produces a tremendous amount of commotion, and calls fish from greater distances. The Super Sammy is armed with three #2 super sharp treble hooks as well, providing more firepower and a much greater chance of getting a hook in the fish. Available in a variety of Lucky Craft’s signature colors, the Lucky Craft Super Sammy 10lb is going to be responsible for some of the best, big fish topwater blow-ups you can ever imagine.

Comments: This lure flat out catches fish, And is a great addition to the tackle box. The Colors and realistic features make it a real fish catcher. I was surprised to find that It works really well in pressures ponds, and even an unfished lake. I believe that if you have this money to spend, this is what it should be for. I have caught my PB on this lure, A hard Fighting 7.8 pounder. Amazing construction, high quality coloring and hardware, make for an amazing hookup ratio. Thanks for such a great lure, and a great fishing experience. I definitely recommend this lure, to anyone and everyone looking to enhance their tackle arsenal, or even for a beginner to become an experienced angler. However, There are some cons. Sometimes it˙s not very durable, for instance, intense hook sets sometimes can rip the area around the hook, but usually this is a rarity. Also, if i'm ripping the lure for pond fish, it doesn't always stay flush, and has a proper action, but overall, I think if you
you˙re looking for something like this, this is the best.
