Overview

The ringed body of the Lunker City Ribster Worm allows it to project the appearance of a fat body worm, while still retaining a small core, which ensures maximum flexibility. It’s super slinky tail section and cupped willow leaf tail sashay seductively on the fall, and move with the slightest twitch of the rod. The Ribster also solves the rigging issues associated with many ringed or ribbed worms by providing a bulkier core toward the head of the bait. This helps stop you hook points from tearing loose or sliding out as easily. Available in a variety of colors, the Lunker City Ribster Worm is first and foremost a drop shot worm, but is also a great choice on variety of other rigs, including a shaky head, traditional jighead or Texas rig.

Comments: I've used these for years as a drop shot bait, and they've been a fantastic option to include with the standard worm-shaped bait. The head material is quite durable and will last thru several fish most of the time. What I am impressed with is the action that the body and tail put out on a drop shot. Even with minimal "twerks" of the line, the body and tail undulate notably to entice the fish in the vicinity. The scent is not great, but not bad in any way that would limit strikes (it's tough to match up with Keitech squid smell). Best use is from Spring thru Fall, when an active presentation is most likely to represent the local baitfish activity. Ayu, green pumpkin, Okeechobee craw, and white ice work well in Arizona, with the occasional "morning dawn" color thrown in as well.

Comments: Could possibly be the best shaky head bait out there. Tail stands up and wiggles with the slightest movement. Love the black color for early morning or evening especially in stained water.

Comments: I bought a variety of 4.5" worms to fish on shaky heads. I was disappointed that the bodies of almost half of the worms had a permanent bend in the body of the worm. It's hard to rig a worm to hang straight when it's bent. Especially in the back half.

Comments: 3" Ribster is an extremely effective bait when fishing European perch with a drop shot rig. The movements of the bait are not so natural when rigged texas/carolina way, but that doen't really matter cause drop shot is my nr. 1 choice most of the time. The only minor drawback with Ribster is that the tail end is sometimes lost when the fish will bite it so hard.

Comments: Outstanding bait. Just started drop shotting and thought i would give these a try. Caught me a limit in the last half hour, throwing me into second place. Side by side outfished a shad shaped worm. Is now my go-to drop shot bait

Comments: Great small worm.  Extremely versatile, shakey head, tex rig or swim it with a jig head. Very durable and great action.  My new favorite bait.

From: Ted: Norwood PA

Comments: This is such a great worm. Great on a drop shot, but I think it's even better on a shaky head. The tail has a lot of action when twitched and the body design is durable, but limber. I love Lunker City because they actually design baits to be different rather than copying existing designs from others and slapping their name on it (like many of the "big" companies do). Way to go L.C. Keep up the great work!!

Comments: This worm has so many great design facets...

1. Ringed bodies afford the impression of girth and profile, yet still cater to the slinky, lively action that drop shot wormsshould afford, thanks to the thinner interior "core".

2.The problem with most ringed worms out there is the lack of substance to the head for the sake of durability when nose hooking, or even shakey-heading.

3. Rings enhance profile "breakup" and refract light in randomized fashion, while also promoting buoyancy and retaining scent.

If you've ever wanted to more specifically emulate the profile of baitfish forage options, yet retain a nice, limber action out of your bait, look no further.

Comments: This is a great dropshot worm! I have just started recently using it and found it very productive. I've used it both nose hooked and tx rigged. Very durable too. Also great on a shaky head. Probably going to be the only finese worm I carry next season. Great Job Lunker City!
