Overview

The Lunker City VGB Drop Shot Hook features a very innovative design that will significantly increase anglers’ hook up and fish landing ratios. Built with Lunker City’s patented “Vertical Gap Bend” which keeps your bait perfectly inline for a more natural presentation, it also prevents your bait from flipping back over and fowling up on the hook point and costing you fish. The “Vertical Gap Bend” keeps fish locked into the bend of the hook as well, and reduces the chance of them throwing the hook and getting free.

Perfect for any drop shot application, especially when fishing around hyperactive fish that often jump and shake traditional hooks free, it is also finished with a slippery black nickel finish for lightning fast hook penetration. The Lunker City VGB Drop Shot Hook will help you put a few more keepers in your livewell.

Best Drop shot hooks!I have fished the drop shot exclusively in both fresh and saltwater. The #2 is perfect size for 2-2.5" baits and the thin wire design gets penetration with little to no hook set. The square curve design allows you to get the perfect presentation while nose hooking baits and gives a smaller hook more room to keep fish on during the fight.

Comments: Got a pack of the #2 and a pack of the 1/0, since there's very little agreement about how big those numbers mean. FYI, the #2 is probably only suitable for very small/thin 4" worms like a straight tail Power Worm. The 1/0 is more useful for me. I wish they'd make a #1, however. They're as sharp as most any, and the shape makes it really easy to rig. Their offset shank hooks are also good stuff, if you use that type of hook.

Comments: I have used these in 1/0 & #2. At first, I was skeptical but I have not lost a single fish using this hook. Good quality, haven't had any bend or break.
