Overview
Delivering award-winning design features, the Lunker City Wide Gap Texposer Hook is a super versatile hook that works with all sorts of soft plastics and will help you hook more fish while saving more baits. Featuring the ultimate wide gap design with a vertical gap from the point to the shank, the Lunker City Wide Gap Texposer Hook provides increased gap space, which allows bulkier soft plastics to easily collapse and expose the hook point for better hook penetration. It also features an exaggerated Z bend at the top of the shank that locks soft plastics in place to prevent them from sliding down the shank of the hook for uninhibited hook sets and to prevent soft plastics from tearing. Finished with a chemically sharped hook point the pierces with the slightest bit of pressure, the Lunker City Wide Gap Texposer Hook is available in a wide selection of sizes that are ideal for Texas-rigs, Carolina-rigs, flipping, pitching, weightless presentations, and much more.

Comments: If you fish for reddish use these 5/0 on jersey baits. Mullet type colors. Venice or Delacroix rig and throw these rigged with a 5in here bait. If extra weight is needed add a nail weight. These hooks will hold up. Got a 44#er but obviously have your drag adjusted accordingly. These hooks go right thru those hard mouths

Comments: You are absolutely costing yourself fish if you fish a Texas rig and are using anything but this hook!!! Hands down the best hook for Texas rigging and I have tried everything! My home water is a pond with some pretty beefy largemouth , but you really have to go in light, I am talking 10lb or 12lb fluoro, to really catch them consistently. Consequently, with other hooks, I always felt I was on the verge of breaking the line with my hooksets, just to get decent penetration on Texas rigged soft plastics, and was still losing quality fish, or just barely keeping them on. That completely changed with the Texposer! I am able to give just a good solid hookset, not the Bassmaster jaw jack hookset, and get amazing penetration with a very light setup. I agree with the other reviewer who said the hook also seems to stick in the perfect spot. I find I can also set the hook much earlier, so you don't run the risk of gut hooking them. Haven't lost a nice fish yet with this hook! They literally can't spit it!

Comments: Wicked Hook. Heavy gage, and sharp. This hook works well with deep bodied plastics, and they run a size big. Highly recommended

Comments: Probably my favorite wide gap hook now, lays flat on back of swim baits and worms, hook-up ratio is outstanding, excellent design.

Comments: These hooks seem like any other wide gap hook but you couldn't be more wrong!! They are truly phenomenal!! First the exaggerated Z bend on the front holds baits better than ANY other worm hook I have. The 3/0 fits a beaver style bait perfectly and saves you tons by not shredding the nose. As for the flat back its perfect for flippin' an over-sized tube. Baits slide straight down and won't ball up on a curve. Wire guage is heavy enough to be fished with Braid or Flouro. Definitely make these your next hook you won't be disappointed!!!

Comments: Lunker City Hit a Homerun With These Hooks! I got these hooks in three different sizes, not being sure if they would be made true to size or not with their unique design. Thankfully they are true to size when compared to other wide gap hooks. I have been using the 3/0 hook with a 4 inch bait similar to the Sweet Beaver. These hooks are flat out the best I have used. Period. They're rugged, sticky-sharp right out of the package and the unique shape of the hook itself seems to hook the fish in the top center of the mouth every time. The best part, though, is the little V shape that holds the soft plastic in place. This hook works better than any other I have used when it comes to this feature. No matter how hard I jerk the bait, the soft plastic stays put. Even catching a fish doesn't move it. I highly recommend these hooks.
