Overview
The Lunkerhunt Impact Jerkbait was simply built to create an irresistible action and put more fish in the boat. Featuring a curved body shape and a rounded bill, which provides a natural baitfish profile and generates a wildly erratic darting action that triggers aggressive reaction strikes. The Lunkerhunt Impact Jerkbait also slowly floats when paused, giving it a secondary action that mimics the last movements of a dying shad.
Providing a more lifelike appeal, the Lunkerhunt Impact Jerkbait features large 3D eyes, molded gill plates, and a textured scale pattern that comes to life in the water and fools even the most wary of predators. Armed with extremely sharp black nickel treble hooks that deliver superior hook penetration, the Lunkerhunt Impact Jerkbait is perfect for any time the bass are feeding on baitfish.

Comments: Of all the jerkbaits I have in my arsenal this is by far the worst. I took it out to float test because it was labeled as floating on the package and out of the box in pure tap water it sunk like a rock. I then removed the hardware to see if it was the weight and it also sunk. It wasn’t until I cooled the water with ice and added salt to the mixture that I could finally get it to float. Then I added light wire #6 VMC Hooks and size 2 split rings and again sunk like a stone. I've never been a fan of lunkerhunt but figured they were on clearance so what the heck? Truly disappointed and urge others to steer clear.

Comments: I bought two of these. The paint jobs are exquisite. But both of them sink like a stone. I don't use them much because they get hung up.

Comments: I ordered one of these in the silverside and it has proven to be an easy lure to use in cooler water lure. I like that the hits on this are not subtle; had a 5lber almost pull the rod out of my hands, mid April. The lure works like a jerk bait should, and despite the small bill, it seems to bounce through obstructions with ease. It suspends well and stops on a dime when twitched. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cool water jerk bait.

Comments: I picked up a Jumbo just to take on my annual fishing trip to to central Canada this year, it looked like it might work for pike & boy did it, first cast a 39 incher was my best producer for the week multiple large fish till I lost it. The lure still caught fish even when the paint was beat to death. Will be sure to have spares next year.
