Comments: I bought a few packs of these in 1/4 oz size for drop shotting in the northeast. They do avoid getting hung up more often than a straight cylinder. But the line twist. I use Suffix 832, usually 10 lb. mono equivalent, with an AbrazX or Tatsu leader, usually 6 or 8 lb. test. I have the line on Shimano Sustain reels and NRX drop shot rods. I've never had problems with line twist using this set up. Yet this weight spun so much when retrieving it out of 15 feet that eventually the line began to bunch around the leader knot. I sometimes bed fish with a drop shot. The weight might work with that because the weight would not spin the line as much on the retrieve, but they did not work for me in deeper water.
