Comments: The name on these baits should include "Hand-Poured" as that is probably the most important feature. Being hand-poured, there are some notable pros and cons to this bait. Let's start with the cons. Hand-poured means not every bait is going to be exactly alike. So you have some variation in color and pour shape between the baits in the bag. This should be expected! Second con (if you want to call it that) is that they are 1-fish lures as they are made with ultra-soft plastic. They are also harder to rig than traditional plastic lures as plastic tears easily. But now for the pros, which in my mind outweigh the cons easily. For one, the very soft plastic makes these irresistible to bass and walleye. It not only affects the action of the lure, but also the time window you have to set the hook. The fish simply don't spit this thing out. Once you get a bite, you get a fish. Second pro is that these are perfectly neutrally bouyant, making them absolutely lethal on a drop shot rig. So don't let the simple design fool you. These things work! They can be rigged either vertically as a baitfish profile, or horizontally where they excel at gliding down the water column. A lethal weapon for those who know it.

Comments: The shape of this bait just makes it a dangerous all-around little bait. Great for dropshot, splitshot, ned rigs, etc. Get a big bag of a color you like and go to work. Lurecraft also sells the mold to this bait, if pouring baits is your thing.

Comments: Purchased these to try after the Original darter changed plastic. Unfortunately, the quality of these was very poor. Most baits didn't have complete ribs, color lamination had a gap and they were rather stiff. That being said, I still fished them and burned through the whole 25pk catching a bunch of fish throughout the season. I will purchase again even with the poor quality pours.

Comments: These are the Erie darter. It is actually the same company but the company changed its location to Orland, Indiana and name to lure craft. The difference is there are new and more colors but still catch the giant small like they always have.

Comments: These are from the owner of the original Erie Darter. Better quality control than Poor Boys.

Comments: Just another Erie Darter copy. I ordered 3 bags, 2 of the smaller size and one of the larger size, super soft plastic it is not. A #2 pencil has more action that the 3.5" model, the 4" model was not much better. Colors were "hazy" at best.
