Overview
The Madness Japan Balam 300 Swimbait is not made for everyday anglers. Its large stature is built to meet the needs of anglers who are looking for one bite and trying to catch that fish-of-a-lifetime. A true magnum-sized swimbait, the Balam 300 measures nearly 12-inches in length and weighs just over 6-ounces.
The Balam 300 features four joints that produce a tremendous swimming action, as well as an enticing side-to-side body roll. It is also perfectly weighted so it can be burned at ultra-high speeds and won’t tumble or jump out of the water.
Crafted from ABS resin, which allows it to take a heavy beating, it also comes equipped with a soft silicone tail that offers unbelievable lifelike action. Armed with a three-hook system as well that makes it nearly impossible for fish to short-strike or swipe at the bait without getting hooked, each Madness Japan Balam 300 Swimbait is also airbrushed to perfection with incredible detailing.

Comments: Watch some of the videos for this lure, yes I have seen some crazy stuff like what you will see on the video. I've caught my PB striper this year on it. It doesn't cast as far as I wish it did but considering the size and only being 6oz. I can still get about 20-36 yard casts with it. First few trips with it in a very clear grassy lake that gets a ton of pressure I caught a few nice ones with it and many many followers. No big largemouth so far but the big stripers LOVE this thing. Stock hooks are solid but I had so many fish able to pull off I changed them out with those treble hooks that rotate. Pretty pleased with it, DOES NOT WORK WELL IN STAINED/ murky water. Other downside is the plastic it's made from is a little soft and the hooks often dig in to the body on extra long casts. The edge of the first joint also chipped either from the hooks or casting. Decent for a large bait, if it was about $40-70 cheaper I'd definitely like it more
