Overview

Delivering the same deadly action as the original, but now in freshwater specific patterns, the Major Craft USA Jigpara Micro will help you capitalize on suspended and finicky fish. The unique baitfish profile and shape of the Jipara Micro produce a natural horizontal swinging fall like a leaf off a tree which extends the time the jig remains in the strike zone.

Armed with a razor-sharp stinger hook and a premium Japanese treble hook, the Major Craft USA Jigpara Micro is ready to tangle with any predator it comes in contact with. In addition to its shape, the Jigpara Micro also features brilliantly durable paint schemes, 3D gill rakers, and holographic eyes for a superb touch of realism. An incredibly effective way to target bass with a finesse approach, the Major Craft USA Jigpara Micro is a sure way to find a limit, even in challenging conditions.

Excellent Jigging SpoonThis is an excellent Jigging Spoon, both the 7 and 10 gram sizes, in clear to even pretty stained water. It's a confidence lure in both the fall and winter for me. The 7 gram version also performs great for stocked trout. I fish mainly off the bank, using these in mostly open water obviously. I've used a fast-action, light-power spinning rod with braid and a moderate to moderate-fast action medium-lite spinning rod designed for jerkbaits with 0.165mm diameter mono and flouro leader. Both rods are 7ft long, and I experienced no difference in hook-up or landing percentages between them with this spoon. The casting distance is second to none. On a good* cast, it lands very quietly, even when throwing hard for distance. The flutter is excellent compared to typical jigging spoons. I replace the trebles on the back with Owner replacement single-hooks. I work it three different ways: 1. Big jerks up, letting it flutter down for a few seconds on slack line between each. I consider this the lure's power technique. I start the fishing session with this. Stay focused, you never know when your jig will actually be a slack-line hookset. 2. Constant small twitches upwards while reeling slowly. A more finesse technique. I catch the most this way. Consequently (I suppose), I usually catch larger fish this way as well. 3. Half handle turns with the reel, keeping the rod tip up and in place; letting it flutter down on relatively taught line. I use this when the fish are spookish or if I need to stay finesse but want to change things up from technique two. *Technique 3 will not work when vertically jigging! It will fall straight down without fluttering. I use it for bank fishing. So, it's a horizontal retrieve.* For 1 & 3, I keep a rhythm, like you would with a jerkbait. For 2 & 3, they're basically contact techniques. So, they will help with bite detection. Great Lure, Highly Recommended

Comments: Pretty neat lure, will take mangrove snapper in very clear, shallow water (<10') when otherwise I'd need bait. Lots of bycatch too, so a neat multi species thing.

Comments: Can literally catch anything with this. Great falling action especially if you get the 10g version it falls like a leaf. You can pop it or straight retrieve with pauses. Imo i've used this for a while and had the most success with a slow constant retrieve with pauses, similar to a spoon.

Comments: Nice bait. good weight, nice fall.

From: Sarge: Sacramento, CA 1/20/22

Comments: This is one bad little dude! Hard to beat when the bait is tiny. Whether reeling up close to the surface or jigging vertical deep, this really fills a void in late summer/early fall when the schooling bite starts. Colors are good too!

Comments: Awesome little jig for finessing fish, also great for video game fishing. Works great while using the active target.

Comments: Great little spoon for those finicky fish or when the bait is really small and hard to match. Biggest thing is to add a swivel to eliminate line twist.

Comments: These are killer spoons for large mouth and spots. I own quite a few now. Super important to change out the treble hook for a stronger one. The only issue I have with this spoon.

From: Unknown: 12/20/20

Comments: Nice bait. Spots and Bass go crazy on this. Change out the treble hook for one size larger and 2x strong.
