Overview

Designed by YouTube creator and renowned tournament angler Matt Luna, the Matt Luna Fishing Tungsten Free Rig Weights are built with a streamlined teardrop cylinder shape that allows them to slide through heavy cover with fewer snags. Featuring a high-density tungsten construction and a more compact profile than lead weights, the Matt Luna Free Rig Weights provide increased sensitivity to help anglers easily detect subtle bites and changes in bottom composition.

Fitted with a swiveling open ring eyelet that slides smoothly up and down your fishing line, these weights are ideal for reducing line twists with free rig presentations or when tying direct for use as a premium drop shot weight. Stamped with the corresponding size for quick and easy identification, the Matt Luna Fishing Tungsten Free Rig Weights are finished with a stealthy chip-resistant black coating to reduce flash and ensure long-lasting performance.

Revised weights!Weights are solid! A huge improvement from the originals and you can buy with confidence because I have been using them for almost a year now with no issues. It’s good to see a newer company listen to feedback and fix and revise their products. I use all the Essential Fishing Tear drop free rigs, cylinder free rigs, lead drop shot weights, and tungsten ball heads and it is nice to have an affordable option.

Weight pulls from pinHave bought this weight 3 times and the weight consistently pulls out from the pin insert. Not buying anymore.

DefectiveSame as others, insert pulled out of weights.

Absolute garbageBought these because every other tungsten drop shot weight with a connector that doesn’t pinch the line is sold out. Tied one on yesterday morning (straight out of the package) and the insert pulled straight out of the weight. At $2 a piece they should be better quality than that! I will be returning them

JunkSame as everyone else is saying. These are horrible. Insert falls out of every single one. TW needs to stop carrying these until Matt fixes the issue.

Poor QualityThese weights are exceptionally poor quality. The weights disconnect from the line tie in short order. I’m actually surprised Tackle Warehouse continues to offer them. Buyer beware!!!

GarbageWeight slings off the wire. Went through my pack in a day. Not good in a tournament when that’s the only ones you have
