Overview
Maxima Ultragreen Braided Line is manufactured using an advanced, proprietary, 8-yarn Round Construction Braiding Process. The process interweaves the micro-fibers extremely tight and rounder than many other braids on the market. This allows the Ultragreen Braid to have a smaller, more compact profile, pack better onto reels, and offer better knot performance. Ultragreen Braid is sealed with Maxima’s new Triple Coating Treatment (TCT) as well, which provides a sealed and smooth surface for exceptional castability and outstanding abrasion resistance. In order to ensure maximum strength and sensitivity, Maxima Ultragreen Braid is also pre-stretched and heat-fixed - a critical step many other brands overlook. Comments: My new favorite! Combines great castability with smoothness and just the right amount of body. Casting from shore requires distance to access some spots and cover wide areas. This line enables me to live at the bleeding edge of max distance vs backlash consistently. So far, very strong for its diameter and as abrasion resistant as can be expected. Worth the money, but I wouldn't mind a lower price!

Comments: Line worked extremely well, very small dia.. If you're worried about the line retaining it's color, look elsewhere. The 50lb. I had spooled went to white in 30 minutes, no joke.

Comments: Maxima is the one brand I keep coming back to. I'm not big on braid, but this is the finest I've tried to date. It's three times better than the garbage Toray Bawo Finesse at half the cost. I like it so much I purchased a shallow spool dedicated to it. The diameter is as small as the smallest I've seen. It's round. It's tight. It doesn't bleed. I'm hooked.
