Overview
The McCoy V-Twin Spinnerbait has a unique "V" design and retractable arms. Slow-rolled or burned, the innovative V-arm design with premium blades delivers twice the vibration and thumping power of a single-arm bait. Opposing force "blades" created by the V-arm design delivers true running, deadly double blade action while spiraling to desired depths or down deep retrieves. Because of it's unique design, the McCoy V-Twin Spinnerbait can be "killed" next to vertical structure like stick-ups, bridge pilings, ledeges, or drop-offs, and will sink enticingly without spinning and fouling like conventional spinnerbaits.
The unique retractable arms may be slid up the spinnerbait's arm toward the head for easy, compact storage.

Comments: I haven't experienced any bearing issues, they are Sampos. These also really catch fish for me. I find them great on riprap and ledges. They run true, track well when fished quickly, and do kill well as described. I think they are priced very fairly for their quality and unique design.

Comments: Bought two of these baits to use during the shad spawn. Both Baits had one blade (swivel) that wouldn't turn. Sent email to mccoy with no response, guess they don't care if you have a problem with there baits

Comments: I'd personally make my own but in case you cant do that these work perfectly just bend the extra arm down to the hook at the bottom of the arm I entered a 30 second tournament (who ever can catch the most fish the fastest) and pulled out three fish in under 5 minutes.

Comments:Since the shannon twin spinner is no longer produced, which is one of the biggest error's ever made in the bass fishing industry, this is about as close as you can get for a replacement. You can remove the plastic skirt and tie buck tail in place of it and the fall rate is slowed 10 fold. Make no mistake, the Mccoy V-Twin will catch fish as is, it is a 'sleeper bait' that the pro's do not talk about but use a great deal, especially around brush and tree's. It is also deadly fished as a fall/drop lure next to sheer cliff's and boulder's. Why Mccoy does not provide black lure's is beyond me because black is the BEST color for these lure's by far. I paint the head's black and use either black plastic skirt's or black buck tail. Pick your favorite trailer and give them a try.
