An extraordinary crankbait packed full of innovative features, the Megabass Deep X 200 LBO Crankbait is one of master lure designer, Yuki Ito’s, favorite lures he has ever created over his 30+ year career as a lure maker. Easily outpacing typical crankbaits, the Megabass Deep X 200 LBO Crankbait is engineered with a patented Linear Bearing Oscillator system (LBO), which replaces the traditional weight transfer system and provides instantaneous movement back-and-forth for superior casting distance and a perfectly balanced swimming action. The Megabass Deep X 200 LBO Crankbait is also molded with a hydrodynamic profile, as well as, a precisely angled bill and head shape that amplifies its sharp rolling action and high pitched vibrations as it swims to trigger more bites.
Another key feature of the Megabass Deep X 200 LBO Crankbait it the super low center of gravity, which not only keeps the bait stabilized at any speed but allows it to easily deflect of cover. Covered in lifelike details just like all Megabass lures as well, the Megabass Deep X 200 LBO Crankbait features natural 3D eyes, 3D gill plates, and a checkered scale pattern that comes to life in the water and will wool even the wariest of fish. Armed with a set of sticky sharp Japanese treble hooks, the Megabass Deep X 200 LBO Crankbait is available in a wide range of custom colors that has made Megabass lures a staple among professional and avid anglers alike.
Upgrade Your Treble Hooks!
Comments: I will disagree with KC. I have the old versions and they certainly work well. I do agree casting distance is relatively the same. However I caught my current PB largemouth on the 200 LBO last spring and my two biggest LM last year came on this bait. I'll continue to buy them. The hooks are weak so I suggest swapping them out - they will start to bend out almost immediately. Which is my only real gripe with this bait but not a big deal. I change them out for the nano finesse hooks.

Comments: I've had a blast with these on Shenandoah River Smallmouth. Great video on YouTube with Yuki Ito explaining the longer bill and diving angle helps to limit them from snagging up. And thus far when I have gotten snagged with this lure I've been able to retrieve it every time just by paddling back past the snag and retrieving the line. Of course I could have been lucky a couple dozen times but not likely. They've been my favorite crank in the Megabass lineup.

Comments: This crankbait works well, but it has a big problem. It's now more complex, expensive, and awkward in profile than its venerable predecessors. I've got several of the pre-LBO 200T's and 201's. I've now got two of the new LBO versions. The old ones cast about the same and seem to fish better. I like their action better and the fish seem to as well. People are bidding prices up high on the New Old Stock (NOS) originals. I'm taking that as agreement that the new generation isn't an improvement.

Comments: Amazing crank - then again it's Megabass - so kinda expected - you get what you pay for - the fire tiger is an awesome bait in semi stained waters - highly recommend

Comments: I purchased several of the 200 LBO's for a recent trip to TN. The 200 LBO Crankbait outfished all other crank-baits thrown during the trip (Rapala, Strike King, Livingston, Molix, etc). 90% of the fish caught on our trip were caught on the Wild Craw color pattern. My only complaint is the hooks. The hooks are extremely sharp & pin fish, however after 9 or 10 brownies, the hooks bend. IMO for a lure in this price range, you shouldn't need to replace the hooks after a day of fishing. With that said, this lure is a must have.
