Overview
The creation of famed lure designer Yuki Ito, the Megabass Okashira Jig Head provides a lifelike baitfish imitation that is detailed, diminutive, and deadly. Modeled after a hand carving, the Megabass Okashira Jig head comes equipped with 3-D eyes, intricate gill plates, and a hand-painted finish that will fool the most seasoned predators.
To lock soft plastics firmly in place, the Megabass Okashira Jig Head features a baitkeeper barb along the shank of the hook, so you spend less time adjusting your presentation and more time fish. Armed with a razor-sharp hook, the Megabass Okashira Jig Head perfectly matches smaller forage, whether it is fished by itself or on an umbrella rig.

They get the job doneTypical MB, above average quality, above average attention to detail and above average price. Normally I favor 1/16 for strolling or soft plastic spy baits, but the 16th screw head has a tendency to cause heavy line twists. A previous comment refers to this hook as "light wire" for some reason. Its similar gauge to a 2x 604, anything but light wire.

Comments: These heads are very detailed, sharp & definitely add a lot of roll to your finesse swimbait presentations. I especially like to use these during heavy feeding times in the spring & fall & also on an Alabama rig. I tried to use them on grubs but the heavy rolling action this thing has makes it look unnatural but on a Keitech swing impact they are hard to beat. They have a light wire hook that's sharp but I've never had one straighten on me although I'm sure it's possible.

Comments: Great hooks so far. For how small they are, they are very stout & strong. Works excellent with smaller swimbaits & makes them look very realistic. Overall I like them a lot compare to the Ball Head Jigs I usually use. Comes through the vegetation a lot easier.
