Utilizing concepts developed by Yuki Ito and ITO engineering, the Megabass Triza Travel Spinning Rods deliver performance that leaves conventional multi-piece rods in the past. Featuring a totally new “Triangle” concept of three-piece rod design and construction, the Megabass Triza Travel Spinning Rods leverage the ability to build each blank section specifically to its purpose, blending unique functions into each section of the black to deliver performance that would be impossible with traditional one-piece construction. The tip section maximizes tension, the belly section maximizes torque, and the butt section maximizes torsional rigidity. The “Triangle” Concept also results in a reduction of overlapping duplicate layers to improve the total weight and balance, creating an astonishing lightweight feel.

Painstakingly built one at a time, the Megabass Triza Travel Spinning Rods feature beautiful natural bird’s eye peacock wood reel seats, silky hand-threading performed by a skilled craftsman, polished guides, and hand-drawn graphics. If you’re looking for an uncompromising bass fishing experience when traveling, the Megabass Triza Travel Spinning Rods will not disappoint.

Comments: I purchased the Ageha as well as the travel case for it. The rod is fantastic, and definitely fishes like a 1 piece rod. You can definitely tell how they designed each section of the rod individually vs other companies that design a 1 piece and just cut it up a couple times. The tip is great with casts, the mid section really loads up when you're fighting a fish, and the final section gives you the backbone to get the fish in quick. I was really impressed with how this rod can horse a fish in if you want to put the hurt on them. Sensitivity is a lot better than I originally expected with being a travel rod too. It's not a Windbuster, but holy crap is it as close as you're going to get with a 3pc rod. ROD IS TIP HEAVY - and no reel is going to save you. I've tried Certate, Stella, Exsence, etc... and found that heavy for me wasn't the answer. If you can't balance a rod I found it's actually better to go as light as you can while keeping the combo functional. I ended up putting my JDM 2019 Vanquish 3000HG on it. Those removed ounces are definitely noticeable and make the rod way more fun to fish. Be aware the reel seat is very tight... and has side to side play in it. Takes some effort to get things tight, almost where you think you're going to break something.

Comments: I have been using the Ageha up north for drop shotting bruiser smallies and find the bend perfect for fighting smallmouth and the occasional giant drum. Outstanding feel and no dead spots on a three-piece rod. I run mine with a Daiwa certate which balances pretty well. An extremely versatile rod that definitely has that high end feel!

Comments: I purchased this rod about a year ago (Ageha) and it has been an all around amazing spinning rod. This rod series fishes like a one piece rod. I can say that my triza is more sensitive than my Orochi XX rod and it's lighter. My Ageha is a 7'2" Medium action spinning rod, more meant for reaction type techniques, is only 3.9 ozs. The action of the rod makes it very versatile, similar to the P5 windbuster(practically a windbuster just a little softer of a rod). Although, it is rather tip heavy and I do recommend a reel on the heavier side like a Certate. The rod itself looks amazing with its wooded handle and is cosmetically perfect. It also has Fuji stainless steal SiC guides. The only thing I don't like about the rod is the jdm style handle (personal preference) and the balance..that's about it. Everything else is perfect as far as I'm concerned.
