Sinks, hooks are not the best, but…I just got this lure and I really like the size and profile of it. Great action as well but it’s got some glaring issues. Not sure if mine was a a defect from the factory, but it sank. So much so it got snagged on a rock In 5-7 feet of water. Almost caught a large bass (4+ pounds) and it bent the hook to a 90 degree angle. But it was productive in the short time I used it; just sank as I was helping a buddy and stopped reeling/jerking. For all I know it could’ve been a defective product, so 3 stars.

Comments: This jerkbait works great this time of year, because there are so many tiny shad and minnow fry around that they "spook" and cause a feeding frenzy! The Megabass X-80 Jr. stands out against the backdrop of all of that bait and predators zero in and strike! My Live Scope keeps me on the fish as they move around. 100 fish afternoons are not uncommon. Awesome for the end of summer, but fall should be even better! Tight Lines!
