Overview
Millerods are no ordinary bass rods. Refreshingly new and innovative in design and appearance, the Millerods Casting Rods boast a unique blend of function and style. Based on a technique-specific approach, every inch and every component of each rod model is painstakingly selected and individually tuned.
The blank actions are custom designed for each model, utilizing exclusively selected graphite blends to maximize performance. This allows Millerods blanks to be both sensitive and strong, with distinct characteristics and specific actions for every lure approach. Rods are aligned with the backbone for ideal power transition between casting, lure retrieve and fish-fighting, which delivers total energy efficiency.
Minimalist skeleton seats and split grip handles maintain the integrity of these amazing blanks, and help deliver valuable feed-back through every inch of the retrieve. Grip materials are shaped for maximum comfort, but only fitted exactly where you need them.
The latest Fuji K-R semi-micro guide designs are used in multiple configurations to provide the smoothest line flow possible. This means better casting accuracy, further casting distance, longer line-life, and fighting properties, so even that it protects delicate hook-holds.
Overall balance, precision and responsiveness are hallmarks of Millerods, while innovations such as our ‘Swing Grip’ and custom hook keepers are indicative of our design sophistication and cutting-edge characteristics.

Comments: These rods are truly one of kind. I have fished many other high end rods and these rods are the ones I always grab. They are incredibly well balanced with top notched sensitivity. I own 3 switch freaks and both the jig freaks. The switch freaks are highly universal. Try them you won't be disappointed.

Comments: I now own 4 of these rods, Beastfreak, Jigfreak, Swimsanity, and a Swimfreak Ambush form Australia. These rods are second to none.

Comments: Bought a Beastfreak. This thing is out of this world. I can't get over the sensitivity being a swimbait rod. Using a calcutta 400D with p-line cxx 25.Have already slapped a few bass in the 7 to 10 lb range. Loads of power. Tips is somewhat parabolic and shuts down about a third of the way down the blank. The only disappointment was not getting the Miller rods custom rod sleeve that every other dealer sends with the rod.

Comments: Incredibly unique actions throughout the line, all balanced perfectly. Customer service is responsive despite review below, plus they do have a phone number now. Great sticks with lots of character. I am slowly growing an arsenal of em... haven't found one I don't like yet but standouts thus far are jigfreak power, frogfreak, and switchfreak. I've been jerkin with a squarefreak which is just a little soft, but works excellent. Great accurate caster with a squarelip. Both flipfreak rods are excellent for punching heavy vegetation with loads of power down low, but a nice parabolic bend. Only rods I have yet to try are the various swimmer sticks and the crankfreak rods, i think my next will be a crankfreak power and a ripfreak!

Comments: I switched to these rods one year ago. I have not looked backed. They are without a doubt the lightest most sensitive rods I have ever used. They may be a Little expensive but worth every penny.

Comments: Love the rods but terrible customer service or lack thereof . Having owned a jigfreak since they first came out on tacklewarehouse been an amazing rod but was pulling 16lb through it one day as it broke . Tried emailing them since they have no phone number and no response buyer beware

Comments: I own about a dozen of these rods, both casting and spinning, They are very well constructed and both light and sensitive. They are also extremely attractive looking rods. It was honestly one of the things that attracted me to them initially. I am glad they perform even better than they look. Zero complaints. No regrets. Last time I checked tackle warehouse had some of the rods categorized wrong. I would double check on their official site to confirm. It's hard to find honest reviews on these rods, or any info at all. The company seems smaller and the US market smaller still, since this is an Australian company. Figured I would help in case anyone is on the fence about purchasing one, or 20....

Comments: I recently picked up a Swim Freak and couldn't be more happy with how this rod performs. I'm throwing smaller soft swimbaits with it and will sometimes throw a larger (6-7") soft swimbait at just over 2 oz. It handles a wide range of weights and baits without fail. I've got it paired with a Shimano Curado 200I and it's perfect. This will be the first of many Miller rod purchased for me! Thanks for convincing me Carl!

Comments: Great rods and loads of power! I fish with some serious bits of gear including some topwater snakes that are 14" long and 6oz and can do it with ease. As well as some big spinnerbaits, hardbodies, and solid swimbaits to chase big fish that head for cover once hooked! I have a few different models being the BladeFreak, SwimFreak, JigFreak power, all have their time and place but all do their jobs without a flaw. These rods are well thought out not only fish ability but even down to small details such as the neat, clean finish and having the hook keeper below the palm grip so as your bait comes off the rod it's ready to pitch or flip even if you need to make that long cast without having to have hooks in your guides that could potentially damaging them and in tournament situations that by far the worse thing you want! The placing of the Fuji aconite guides on the parabolic bend in the rod to support the line on the blank for maximum feel, unlike many other high end rods where the line actually touches the blank itself. I have now been thru a number of brands and styles but none have had me as satisfied as I am with the millerrods I now have. Not only do they have the grunt and performance but light to hold all day without fatigue or getting pain in the wrist. I'm still young but have already had issues with the hours I spend on the water with other brands. I have mine matched up to Shimano Chronarch 100BSV, Calais and Calcutta DC for my swimbait fishing. I wouldn't go thru the trouble of ordering myself these rods to Melbourne, Australia if I didn't see fit. Great rods Ian Miller it's great to get behind an Aussie product keen to see what you come up with next keep it up!
