Comments: Works great the adapter you need if you have a new motor guide tour PRO with the hd+ sonar to adapt the transducer in the motor head to an old hds gen2. Has the same transducer as the old motor guide tour digital had. Just plug the 9 pin coming from the foot control into the 9 pin end of the adapter then plug the other end into the sonar output of your hds gen 2 and all is well. You’ll have the same frequency as your old motor guide. If your using your new tour pro hd+ sonar and have a hds live, pro or an elite fs you won't need an adapter the sonar wire coming from the new tour pro hd+ sonar will plug right into the sonar output from these lowarance units. You will need other adapter cables if you're running other sonar/chart plotter brands. Just look at info for other options

Comments: Tackle warehouse had the better price and the product worked to perfection in connecting my Humminbird Helix to the Motorguide Tour Pro.

Comments: Works like a charm for me. There’s not much info out there on installation config on the Lowrance. Has a good sonar pic with downscan overlay but have all networked so not putting this ducer to the test. Until then it keeps me from having to zip tie my old ducer around the motor. To much $$$$ for a cord and plug Imo though.

Comments: Pretty expensive for a plug but I guess a captive audience. Lowrance gen 1 networked plug and play. No info found for transducer type setup and haven't played with types but initial setup gets decent sonar with networked downscan overlay. Beats zip tying an external ducer to your shaft. Using old technology and Lowrance and it works. May setup a NEMA (hate to spend $60 for for what is 1970 rs232c network with basically 1970 EDI messages) but hey, when in Rome. All I all , I recommend!

Comments: The cable works fine I suppose. I just installed the Tour Pro trolling motor with HD+ transducer. Motor guide states compatibility with with Echomap Chirp. The Garmin unit only recognizes the 2D portion of the transducer. Motorguide should be more specific about which units are actually compatible. The Echomap chirp doesn't even offer any downscan options with the HD+ connected. I'll probably just strap my Garmin transducer to the trolling motor the old fashioned way if I want to use the downscan.
