mustad weedless wide gap hooki feel the Mustad weedless wide gap hook is the best hook I have used for wacky fishing. I have used many of the others, vmc with nylon guard and metal wire guard, other brands as well. I found that the Mustad hook outperformed the others because the weed guard stayed in place and did not get bent up easily. The weed guard has a coating where it is wound on the hood to prevent unwinding. Hook up ratio is extremely high. I prefer the 3/0 with 6 inch stick worm. Many 1 to 7 lb bass on Okechobee

Comments: This is a well made wacky hook and the wire weed guard stays tucked just under the barb. My only complaint is the 1/0 is really too big for a Senko type of stick bait. Too much hook.
