Comments: These kinds of rattles are great and can be used for a multitude of little tricks and modifications, NOT just for jigs. If you're fishing dirty water, try using one of these on a standard texas rig, especially with a craw soft plastic. Just thread this on in between the hook and the weight. You may snag a bit more grass than normal, but if you're fishing harder bottoms, this is a dynamite little trick. It LOOKS weird that's for sure, but the added noise will help bass locate your bait in dirty water and drive them nuts. Just try it. Fish a texas rigged craw, with this rattle on there, in dirtier water. Especially if you're fishing standing timber or lay downs. You'll thank me. Don't worry about how it looks.
